The whole premise of the show is to find your husband/wife. If you’re going into it with the idea that you’re just going to have fun and mess around, you shouldn’t be there.

My take on the Jed situation is that he wasn't truthful from the start with Hannah. When she sent the first guy home for having a girlfriend she asked all of the guys if you have a girlfriend please tell me now. Jed never said a word. He could have come clean and let her know what was going on in his life but he never said anything, he just wanted to promote his music career.. Hannah was never given that choice on whether to keep him or not. I know everyone may be dating but he could have at least let Hannah know. You shouldn't start any relationship with a lie..
100% disagree with this guy. One of the requirements of being a contestant on the show is you have to be single. All the contestants know that Hannah is dating other guys and that is what they signed up for, but it's not like Jed told Hannah he was seeing someone else back at home, which makes him very duplicitous. Plus, he explicitly came on the show to promote his doomed music career. Jed sucks and this guy is wrong.
Agree and disagree. I think I agree with the guy's general point of Jed doesn't deserve AS MUCH HATE as he's getting. Like all things considered with the situation he hasn't fallen from some pedestal, he very well could have seen the show something superficial (like many do) and then had that change along the way. Which is legitimately what he told Hannah when he admitted he came for his music and that completely changed. If he had no feelings for her he never would have admitted to ever being there for his career, that's just trying to be honest. In saying all that... I don't like him very much lol. He signed a contract to be single, like you said, and it's super duplicitous for his relationship to be secret while Hannah is being transparent. Also super douchy to go on with wrong intentions in the first place, saying he only wanted to benefit his career. You guys deserve way more subscribers. I’ve watched other bachelor recap shows, but they’re so hard to watch because everyone talks over each other, there’s theatrics, and the hosts often try to be the center of attention. I love the way you guys produce these vids and how calmly and respectfully you interact with the guests. I could def listen to this as a podcast too.
The problems with Jed, from what we’ve been told are many - he keeps the information secret fromHannah, knowing another person was eliminated for same, his family seems to know this - the toast in which his mom sternly toasts to living by your TRUTH! he made BIG overtures to Haley abt how he’d be thinking of her the whole time, loved her, etc.... and THEN he GHOSTED her - that sucks! A person of integrity had many times to course correct - we need the show to be over so we can learn the whole story - but he shows himself already as not the top choice for the man you’d want to marry. And Hannah seems to like her men best with a big side of controversy & drama. The final rose episode will be a stinker. 💡

I like his take on the Jed situation. Agree or not, it's a good point. For me, it's been one of my favorite seasons. It's all about entertainment and this was an entertaining season! Sho-nuff!
Helpful info to understand "Behind the Scenes" ... pre and post season. ( I too applied for Survivor (3x) so it was a highlight to see a cast member on yr channel. What a surprise to see "this union" of my two favorite reality shows. " I have watched them both on their seasons... Cute couple. Loved the honesty. Mahalo.
On the double standards part, the issue is not dating people Perhaps but lying about it or withholding that info, about making a 'deal to return to a girlfriend' a contestant had prior to casting.
Jed having a girlfriend prior to the show is a sad normality. The bigger issue here(at least for me) is that he cheated on Hayley numerous times even though he was supposedly “in love with her”, one of which she didn’t even find out about until she went on Reality Steve’s podcast. And for the people that say “maybe he fell in love with Hannah”, his post-show activities were pretty bad for someone who is either heartbroken or engaged.
JKnight1316 there have been numerous reports on separate occasions where he was being very flirtatious at bars, trying to get people’s numbers and hook up later, even some inappropriate touching without consent. There were also some reports he was doing this at the CMAs which Hannah also attended. Reddit has a lot of information if you want to check it out, but it’s full of spoilers.
It's okay to Date before going on the Bachelor, but not okay to continue that relationship while on the show. You go on the show with the intention of getting married. Jed didn't have any intentions of getting married - he just wanted a platform for his music. I admit that Jed fooled me early on.. esp when he was so nonchalant when he caught hannah and Luke P making out. I thought what a mature person, but turns out he just didn't care. Who knows if he cares now, but I'm glad his ex came out publicly with the truth because if he didn't win, he would go back to her. No one deserves to be personally attacked but I do think opinions are allowed to be shared publicly on twitter and other public platforms
I disagree with Dan’s take on Jed. Jed didn’t break up with his gf before the show. Hannah is dating multiple guys but breaks up with them until the end. 🤷🏻♀️
I don't think the fact that Jed was dating someone prior is a big deal - I'm sure the vast majority of people come on the show for fame/influencer status/a good time. However, to Hannah that bit of information is a big deal, considering she yelled at a guy on the first night and threw him off the show for the very same offense. Jed saw all this go down and even when Hannah said "If anyone else here has a girlfriend back home, tell me now," Jed didn't say a word. He didn't even take that opportunity to croon out a song about his torn heart. So, in that case, it was pretty deceitful. She made it very clear she wouldn't tolerate a situation like that (I think the guy she threw off dumped his girlfriend the day before coming on the show - Jed didn't even dump his girlfriend!) It's naive to think any of these people come on purely for the chance to find love - competing with 24 other people for one person is probably the least successful way to do that - but you should at least be honest if directly asked. If he didn't say anything that night because he was still in the mode of free publicity then he should have at least told her on their one on one when he confessed he initially came on the show to promote his career. That would have been a good time to also mention he had been dating someone who he thought he cared for but since arriving he had fallen head over heels for Hannah. He might have gotten booted but he would have at least then given Hannah the choice. As Khalid Hosseini wrote in A Thousand Splendid Suns, “There is only one sin and that is theft... when you tell a lie, you steal someone's right to the truth."
Thank you for posting this interview. I really liked his take about Jed. It was also super interesting to hear that there is a psychologist on site, and it sounds as if she is really invested in the well being of the contestants - at least when they are about to leave the show. Maybe she could pull a couple of them aside for some chats during the show - I think a few of them could use some therapy (ahem, Luke). So, UnREAL was right about the onsite therapist. P.S. I am a new subscriber! You two remind me of me and my sister, who is three years younger. We're also from the South (Texas). Fun fact: she's pregnant, too! She's having a C-section on Aug 12th. Great interview. But I disagree with him about the reality Steve. Yes he may get some pictures and infos during filming from random people, but he watches the episodes , like the full episode, couple of days before airing. And give min by min spoilers couple of days before. So it’s more than leaking. He spices up the whole show tho. He spreads rumors and then says, oops false information and the correct one is this. So people already started to watch the show through the lens of that ending, then he changes that and people having hard time believing or changing their lens so they are more eager to watch even when they might know what will happen. I strongly believe that he is a part of the game. Intentionally.
I don’t follow reality steve but I end up getting a lot of spoilers from comments. It’s ruining every season for me cause I know who wins in the end when the show’s just barely started!
I think the real problem is that Jed never told Hannah that he had a gf back home, so if he is the one she picks at the end, how the heck is she supposed to get past that? Basically he was lying to her the whole time. It really speaks to his character. I guess he was really hoping that his gf would never come forward. Oops.
True Jed's and Hannah's situation is very different... but Jed's gf is not innocent either... she was ok with him using Hannah to get fame and karma caught up to her now so I'm sorry but she can't play the victim now .. she reaped what she agreed to sow 🤷♀️

CL G What I mean is the issue is not Jed’s girlfriend or her motivations. The issue is that Jed deliberately went on the show to deceive Hannah. It wasn’t that he broke up with a girlfriend to go on the show. He planned to go on the show for a music platform, planned to act instead of be real on the show, and planned to come back to this girlfriend.
Here's the difference...Jed lied to the girl he was dating and he lied to Hannah (as far as we know); however, Hannah didn't lie to anyone and those 30 guys all signed up to date her simultaneously. Jed had a choice to participate in the charade, but Hannah didn't have a choice -- she was lied to. Now, there are plenty of couples that make it through a whole lot worse -- love can be a powerful thing. Only time will tell how they truly feel about each other.
When he teases that the last episode is going to be fireworks it makes me wonder if there will be some post production filming. If she does pick Jed I wonder if they film their conversation about Hailey. That would be interesting to watch.

So my question is why hasn't therapist pegged Luke P as a problem? I mean certainly that would raise some red flags for the therapist--It did for me. I am in shock that they actually let Luke stay. I mean someone put the mic pack on him and gave him a camera to vlog with. I'm just blown away lol. Kinda makes me annoyed with the show, but I still love it!

That's not the same thing. Hannah is dating more than one person only because that's literally the format of the show. It's like trying to punch people in the boxing ring - it's OK to do that because that's literally the point and all parties agree to it with full understanding of the situation. It's NOT OK to punch people in real life. Jed is cheating on his girlfriend in real life, and he is lying to Hannah.
The dating may not be a big deal as we don’t know both sides BUT the fact Jed said he was on show for his career is a huge NO NO! This is not about careers it’s about matchmaking
If you are already dating, there is no reason for you to go on this show.This is for people who have been unlucky in finding someone to complete their life. If you have no problem finding and dating people....Stay home and carry on.
Totally agree with him about the Jed situation. I don't really care for Jed and don't think he's a particularly good match for Hannah, but that's a different story. Of course if you find out the guy you're dating kind of screwed over his last girlfriend it's a red flag. But it is not necessarily a dealbreaker. Every relationship is different as is patently obvious from watching this show.

I agree with this guy’s perspective on Jed- it makes sense that he’d date before the show. To me, it also makes sense that he’d keep his relationship even during the show considering that he went on the show as a platform for his music. What doesn’t make sense is that he would go on the bachelorette to promote his music instead of a more music based show that doesn’t involve dating another person... but I still think Tyler should win lol
On a music based show he’d have serious competition and probably lose pretty quick. The bachelorette has given him lots of exposure... for what it’s worth.

Dan's perspective is an interesting take. I can sorta understand it..maybe the lead will have to ask if they are dating anyone at home so that they know the whole story and not get blindsided. But this leads me to another question or thought; Everybody says that when you sign up for this show, you KNOW that the lead may have sex with the other contestants as well. Am I the only one that would have a problem with that? (Besides Luke),...b/c I'm not even religious and I would be hurt and maybe even a deal breaker if I found out my guy had sex with someone else 2 weeks before our engagement. I'm on the wrong side of 50, so maybe I'm old fashioned..?

The stat is a silly one because it's a scientific study on how long a man's gaze needs to rest on a woman for him to "fall in love." But if we're really talking about Luke's likelihood of falling in love with Hannah within 48 hours, we don't buy it, not because he's everyone's punching bag, but because he hadn't spent nearly enough one-on-one time to get to know her. I think they have made Jed out to be worse than he is, it's part of the cesspool, that's why there is drama, I watch the show simply for entertainment, coz it's loaded with so much bs that it's hilarious, in the end u hope they play the game with dignity but man the bachelorette or bachelor is given so much power and it can get abused, I couldn't think of anything worse than sleeping with someone knowing they just been dipping in someone else's pool the night b4, so ur soul is gana feel things u didnt think it wud because of that, its gotta mess with ya, and be very confusing to ur inner being. Best season ever was Sean's, picking Katherine, when people really are in it for the right reasons, Sean used his discernment throughout the process. Hannah is also only young and confessing to believe in God but her discerment was way off at times and part of being a christian u mature in that area through hardship, she is a bit naive and doesn't really live biblically because it's not about whether u do something and Jesus still loves you, he doesn't disown you or stop loving you because you had sex, you just arent living biblical guidelines, thats different than love. Jesus still loves u coz he loves his fathers creation bottom line, even the birds that declared the windmill scene twice Jesus loves them too 🦜😅 its His creation. Anyways as for Luke, he is a baby Christian still young, shouting and having outbursts, been built up in the surroundings of loved ones and friends & probably never been through hardship or corrected, he threw his weight around, felt entitled coz he was always told he is worth more than gold, which can be really enabling and cause delusion when you are placed in the real world in a situation like the bachelorette coz he literally believed what he said. And he lacked alot of things but wisdom was the main component, he thought his moral stance was hers also, he had expectations based on his own revelations of God that weren't hers that caused him to control the situation when he didnt see it unravelling the way he thought God had "told" him, what he didnt realise was that through his own humanistic immaturities he wasnt actually hearing correctly or "if" he was hearing he wasnt letting it unfold without him interfering out of fear, so Hannah was correct in stating it's a pride issue coz he couldn't see how what he was doing was thinking higher of himself than he ought. These are just human immaturities and lack of getting ur ass kicked by life really 😅 so all in all Luke will grow & mature just like Hannah will too. The criticism is good for Luke, he shud take it on the chim and stop defending himself or explain himself & just own his shizz and realise that the heart is deceitfully wicked who can know it and when u realise that humility comes. IMHO I think Luke wud make a great RL Woody out of Toy Story - Just saying 😂🤣😅🦜🤙🏼
Oh wow, I remember her from Survivor. Only season I watched. LOL I've never felt what Jed did was so tragic as portrayed. Dating is the time to change your mind and the end isn't always pretty. You really aren't committed until you're engaged and then you owe some serious conversation face to face to break up. You can also still love someone and not be IN love with them anymore. Granted, Jed's a douche and not a talented musician/singer so I don't see how this would help his career in any way but badly, but I wouldn't fault him for leaving a girl behind, who he told he was going on the show, so she should understand that there's a good risk he won't come back to her. That's on her if she didn't understand that. If he actually loved her, he wouldn't have gone. No one in the history of the show has gotten a music career from it, the opposite in fact has happened. So, anyone who thinks it will happen is an idiot. Try American Idol. The only career that has come from this show is Instagram Hawker of a huge variety of products and the occasional segment host or blogger. You ain't gonna become the next Garth Brooks on this show. LOL I like Nick Viall's RUclips show for the most part though, except it's a bit too long and lagging and obvs Jade and Tanner make a great living from social media, but still, social media is the option and that's now what Jed was shooting for. My issue is that Jed is a liar. He can date whoever he wants just like Hannah was. The difference is that he was not remotely honest with Hannah. She clearly had an issue with men having relationships back home while dating her as evidenced by how angry she was at Scott on night one. Jed did not give Hannah the choice to decide whether she was okay with the situation and to decide whether he was a person with integrity. How can she fairly evaluate his intentions and what kind of a guy he is without him at least being honest about what he had going on back home, especially without the benefit of talking to his and her friends, seeing him in real life, etc. He also should have been honest with Haley - "I'm going on the show for exposure. We should really take a break because I can't guarantee what my feelings will be about Hannah and I don't want to lie to her or leave with you expectations I may not be able to meet." Jed is a self-centered jerk.

I agree it could be a double standard, but Jed was committed to his girl, told her he would go on the show for fame then ditched her and did not exactly tell Hannah about it. Hannah is dating 25 guys, but that’s all out there-she ain’t hiding anything. Jed led her on and had the audacity to act disgusted towards Luke’s behaviour.
Jed said he was coming back to his GF though. He said he was using the show for his career. It wasn't in good faith.
Jed wasn’t “just dating” he was scheming to get on the show for his career, and told his girlfriend that he loved her and would return to her. Then he lies to Hannah left and right- he’s a jerk.
My take on the Jed situation is that he wasn't truthful from the start with Hannah. When she sent the first guy home for having a girlfriend she asked all of the guys if you have a girlfriend please tell me now. Jed never said a word. He could have come clean and let her know what was going on in his life but he never said anything, he just wanted to promote his music career.. Hannah was never given that choice on whether to keep him or not. I know everyone may be dating but he could have at least let Hannah know. You shouldn't start any relationship with a lie..

100% disagree with this guy. One of the requirements of being a contestant on the show is you have to be single. All the contestants know that Hannah is dating other guys and that is what they signed up for, but it's not like Jed told Hannah he was seeing someone else back at home, which makes him very duplicitous. Plus, he explicitly came on the show to promote his doomed music career.

Agree and disagree. I think I agree with the guy's general point of Jed doesn't deserve AS MUCH HATE as he's getting. Like all things considered with the situation he hasn't fallen from some pedestal, he very well could have seen the show something superficial (like many do) and then had that change along the way. Which is legitimately what he told Hannah when he admitted he came for his music and that completely changed. If he had no feelings for her he never would have admitted to ever being there for his career, that's just trying to be honest. In saying all that... I don't like him very much lol. He signed a contract to be single, like you said, and it's super duplicitous for his relationship to be secret while Hannah is being transparent. Also super douchy to go on with wrong intentions in the first place, saying he only wanted to benefit his career. But he admitted that, what still pisses me off is that he admitted it and then promoted his music almost more after admitting??????? How on earth do you expect us to believe your bullshit if you keep going with it? Ugh. SO yea, I see the guy's point but ultimately still not a huge Jed fan

The problems with Jed, from what we’ve been told are many - he keeps the information secret fromHannah, knowing another person was eliminated for same, his family seems to know this - the toast in which his mom sternly toasts to living by your TRUTH! he made BIG overtures to Haley abt how he’d be thinking of her the whole time, loved her, etc.... and THEN he GHOSTED her - that sucks! A person of integrity had many times to course correct - we need the show to be over so we can learn the whole story - but he shows himself already as not the top choice for the man you’d want to marry. And Hannah seems to like her men best with a big side of controversy & drama. The final rose episode will be a stinker. 💡

On the double standards part, the issue is not dating people Perhaps but lying about it or withholding that info, about making a 'deal to return to a girlfriend' a contestant had prior to casting.
Jed having a girlfriend prior to the show is a sad normality. The bigger issue here(at least for me) is that he cheated on Hayley numerous times even though he was supposedly “in love with her”, one of which she didn’t even find out about until she went on Reality Steve’s podcast. And for the people that say “maybe he fell in love with Hannah”, his post-show activities were pretty bad for someone who is either heartbroken or engaged.

JKnight1316 there have been numerous reports on separate occasions where he was being very flirtatious at bars, trying to get people’s numbers and hook up later, even some inappropriate touching without consent. There were also some reports he was doing this at the CMAs which Hannah also attended. Reddit has a lot of information if you want to check it out, but it’s full of spoilers.
It's okay to Date before going on the Bachelor, but not okay to continue that relationship while on the show. You go on the show with the intention of getting married. Jed didn't have any intentions of getting married - he just wanted a platform for his music. I admit that Jed fooled me early on.. esp when he was so nonchalant when he caught hannah and Luke P making out. I thought what a mature person, but turns out he just didn't care. Who knows if he cares now, but I'm glad his ex came out publicly with the truth because if he didn't win, he would go back to her. No one deserves to be personally attacked but I do think opinions are allowed to be shared publicly on twitter and other public platforms
I disagree with Dan’s take on Jed. Jed didn’t break up with his gf before the show. Hannah is dating multiple guys but breaks up with them until the end. 🤷🏻♀️
I don't think the fact that Jed was dating someone prior is a big deal - I'm sure the vast majority of people come on the show for fame/influencer status/a good time. However, to Hannah that bit of information is a big deal, considering she yelled at a guy on the first night and threw him off the show for the very same offense. Jed saw all this go down and even when Hannah said "If anyone else here has a girlfriend back home, tell me now," Jed didn't say a word. He didn't even take that opportunity to croon out a song about his torn heart. So, in that case, it was pretty deceitful. She made it very clear she wouldn't tolerate a situation like that (I think the guy she threw off dumped his girlfriend the day before coming on the show - Jed didn't even dump his girlfriend!) It's naive to think any of these people come on purely for the chance to find love - competing with 24 other people for one person is probably the least successful way to do that - but you should at least be honest if directly asked. If he didn't say anything that night because he was still in the mode of free publicity then he should have at least told her on their one on one when he confessed he initially came on the show to promote his career. That would have been a good time to also mention he had been dating someone who he thought he cared for but since arriving he had fallen head over heels for Hannah. He might have gotten booted but he would have at least then given Hannah the choice. As Khalid Hosseini wrote in A Thousand Splendid Suns, “There is only one sin and that is theft... when you tell a lie, you steal someone's right to the truth."

Thank you for posting this interview. I really liked his take about Jed. It was also super interesting to hear that there is a psychologist on site, and it sounds as if she is really invested in the well being of the contestants - at least when they are about to leave the show. Maybe she could pull a couple of them aside for some chats during the show - I think a few of them could use some therapy (ahem, Luke). So, UnREAL was right about the onsite therapist. P.S. I am a new subscriber! You two remind me of me and my sister, who is three years younger. We're also from the South (Texas). Fun fact: she's pregnant, too! She's having a C-section on Aug 12th. Great interview. But I disagree with him about the reality Steve. Yes he may get some pictures and infos during filming from random people, but he watches the episodes , like the full episode, couple of days before airing. And give min by min spoilers couple of days before. So it’s more than leaking. He spices up the whole show tho. He spreads rumors and then says, oops false information and the correct one is this. So people already started to watch the show through the lens of that ending, then he changes that and people having hard time believing or changing their lens so they are more eager to watch even when they might know what will happen. I strongly believe that he is a part of the game. Intentionally.

I think the real problem is that Jed never told Hannah that he had a gf back home, so if he is the one she picks at the end, how the heck is she supposed to get past that? Basically he was lying to her the whole time. It really speaks to his character. I guess he was really hoping that his gf would never come forward. Oops.

What I mean is the issue is not Jed’s girlfriend or her motivations. The issue is that Jed deliberately went on the show to deceive Hannah. It wasn’t that he broke up with a girlfriend to go on the show. He planned to go on the show for a music platform, planned to act instead of be real on the show, and planned to come back to this girlfriend.

Here's the difference...Jed lied to the girl he was dating and he lied to Hannah (as far as we know); however, Hannah didn't lie to anyone and those 30 guys all signed up to date her simultaneously. Jed had a choice to participate in the charade, but Hannah didn't have a choice -- she was lied to. Now, there are plenty of couples that make it through a whole lot worse -- love can be a powerful thing. Only time will tell how they truly feel about each other.

When he teases that the last episode is going to be fireworks it makes me wonder if there will be some post production filming. If she does pick Jed I wonder if they film their conversation about Hailey. That would be interesting to watch.

That's not the same thing. Hannah is dating more than one person only because that's literally the format of the show. It's like trying to punch people in the boxing ring - it's OK to do that because that's literally the point and all parties agree to it with full understanding of the situation. It's NOT OK to punch people in real life. Jed is cheating on his girlfriend in real life, and he is lying to Hannah.

Totally agree with him about the Jed situation. I don't really care for Jed and don't think he's a particularly good match for Hannah, but that's a different story. Of course if you find out the guy you're dating kind of screwed over his last girlfriend it's a red flag. But it is not necessarily a dealbreaker. Every relationship is different as is patently obvious from watching this show.

I agree with this guy’s perspective on Jed- it makes sense that he’d date before the show. To me, it also makes sense that he’d keep his relationship even during the show considering that he went on the show as a platform for his music. What doesn’t make sense is that he would go on the bachelorette to promote his music instead of a more music based show that doesn’t involve dating another person...

Dan's perspective is an interesting take. I can sorta understand it..maybe the lead will have to ask if they are dating anyone at home so that they know the whole story and not get blindsided.
But this leads me to another question or thought; Everybody says that when you sign up for this show, you KNOW that the lead may have sex with the other contestants as well. Am I the only one that would have a problem with that? The stat is a silly one because it's a scientific study on how long a man's gaze needs to rest on a woman for him to "fall in love." But if we're really talking about Luke's likelihood of falling in love with Hannah within 48 hours, we don't buy it, not because he's everyone's punching bag, but because he hadn't spent nearly enough one-on-one time to get to know her. I think they have made Jed out to be worse than he is, it's part of the cesspool, that's why there is drama, I watch the show simply for entertainment, coz it's loaded with so much bs that it's hilarious, in the end u hope they play the game with dignity but man the bachelorette or bachelor is given so much power and it can get abused, I couldn't think of anything worse than sleeping with someone knowing they just been dipping in someone else's pool the night b4, so ur soul is gana feel things u didnt think it wud because of that, its gotta mess with ya, and be very confusing to ur inner being. Best season ever was Sean's, picking Katherine, when people really are in it for the right reasons, Sean used his discernment throughout the process. Hannah is also only young and confessing to believe in God but her discerment was way off at times and part of being a christian u mature in that area through hardship, she is a bit naive and doesn't really live biblically because it's not about whether u do something and Jesus still loves you, he doesn't disown you or stop loving you because you had sex, you just arent living biblical guidelines, thats different than love. Jesus still loves u coz he loves his fathers creation bottom line, even the birds that declared the windmill scene twice Jesus loves them too 🦜😅 its His creation. Anyways as for Luke, he is a baby Christian still young, shouting and having outbursts, been built up in the surroundings of loved ones and friends & probably never been through hardship or corrected, he threw his weight around, felt entitled coz he was always told he is worth more than gold, which can be really enabling and cause delusion when you are placed in the real world in a situation like the bachelorette coz he literally believed what he said. And he lacked alot of things but wisdom was the main component, he thought his moral stance was hers also, he had expectations based on his own revelations of God that weren't hers that caused him to control the situation when he didnt see it unravelling the way he thought God had "told" him, what he didnt realise was that through his own humanistic immaturities he wasnt actually hearing correctly or "if" he was hearing he wasnt letting it unfold without him interfering out of fear, so Hannah was correct in stating it's a pride issue coz he couldn't see how what he was doing was thinking higher of himself than he ought. These are just human immaturities and lack of getting ur ass kicked by life really 😅 so all in all Luke will grow & mature just like Hannah will too. The criticism is good for Luke, he shud take it on the chim and stop defending himself or explain himself & just own his shizz and realise that the heart is deceitfully wicked who can know it and when u realise that humility comes. IMHO I think Luke wud make a great RL Woody out of Toy Story - Just saying 😂🤣😅🦜🤙🏼

Oh wow, I remember her from Survivor. Only season I watched. LOL I've never felt what Jed did was so tragic as portrayed. Dating is the time to change your mind and the end isn't always pretty. You really aren't committed until you're engaged and then you owe some serious conversation face to face to break up. You can also still love someone and not be IN love with them anymore. Granted, Jed's a douche and not a talented musician/singer so I don't see how this would help his career in any way but badly, but I wouldn't fault him for leaving a girl behind, who he told he was going on the show, so she should understand that there's a good risk he won't come back to her. That's on her if she didn't understand that. If he actually loved her, he wouldn't have gone. No one in the history of the show has gotten a music career from it, the opposite in fact has happened. So, anyone who thinks it will happen is an idiot. Try American Idol. The only career that has come from this show is Instagram Hawker of a huge variety of products and the occasional segment host or blogger. You ain't gonna become the next Garth Brooks on this show. LOL I like Nick Viall's RUclips show for the most part though, except it's a bit too long and lagging and obvs Jade and Tanner make a great living from social media, but still, social media is the option and that's now what Jed was shooting for. So basically they had to know Luke P has some kind of personality disorder, ie sociopathic narcissism...cause no untrained person, couldn't see he doesn't have actual empathy. He is so religious, because it gives him a moral guide, he doesn't have naturally. He wasn't fighting for love, he was fighting for control over every situation.

My issue is that Jed is a liar. He can date whoever he wants just like Hannah was. The difference is that he was not remotely honest with Hannah. She clearly had an issue with men having relationships back home while dating her as evidenced by how angry she was at Scott on night one. Jed did not give Hannah the choice to decide whether she was okay with the situation and to decide whether he was a person with integrity. How can she fairly evaluate his intentions and what kind of a guy he is without him at least being honest about what he had going on back home, especially without the benefit of talking to his and her friends, seeing him in real life, etc. He also should have been honest with Haley - "I'm going on the show for exposure. We should really take a break because I can't guarantee what my feelings will be about Hannah and I don't want to lie to her or leave with you expectations I may not be able to meet." Jed is a self-centered jerk.
