This content is to help the Elves Community and promote the archetype. I’m a passionate Modern Elves player that never stopped believing in the deck and I am not afraid to sign up for big events with it. These videos have as a goal to show different play patterns, decision trees and even my mistakes, hoping that this will help the Community to evolve, pick up the deck again and maybe experiment a bit more.

I hope there's more to come :) Those aren't enough on their own to fix the fundamental problems of the deck!!

In my eyes, the problem isnt mass removals. Those exist for ever in modern and a tribal player learns to play around. The problem in my eyes is constant removals, eg Bowmaster, Wrenn, Yawgmoth. Those are the actual threats for the deck. If you see, the decks I try to build are both fast as well as resilient, this is why I also do not rely on heritage druid. It is still the beginning of the spoiler season though. I am still waiting for at least 2 more good cards and then I will start thinking about post MH3!
I'm not a huge fan of heroic intervention either, as it requires you to have 2 open mana at any point. I've played it in the past, but I moved away from it. In general, thes reactive cards can be tricky sometimes from my point of view. Last but not least, let's not forget that after this set we are going back to Lorwyn, the best set for elves!

@@musagete3942 with bowmaster being everywhere. (Bug, rock, grixis and dimir midrange are all super popular, and now more goyphs are coming. ) What do you think about deathrite

Deathrite shaman would be a huge mistake. It's a 1 mana planeswalker that can be used/abused by so many decks that are already powerful. For now we will wait and see what they will give to us. After that, we as Elves players we have to learn to adapt to the new reality for tribal decks. We cannot keep on living the dream that we will play the style of magic that was played back in 2018, Magic has evolved, we have to adjust.
