Damn, the feels. I'm an ELF but I have huge respect for Big Bang and the VIPs and I'm equal parts happy and sad for them.....like they came back but is this the end? Is the way one of the greatest groups to ever exist is saying goodbye? They're not even the group I stan and I'm sad at the idea of what happens next, keeping my fingers crossed this isn't the last of BigBang making music together.
If you want to really know what's going on, see the lyrics of this song. It is heartbreaking. BIGBANG is coming back, but this time without Seungri. Now, they are reminiscing the good old times together, where they rule the world with KPOP music. You will surely understand why they are so respected and loved hardly by the KPOP industry. They are the standard and trademark of KPOP hiphop and RnB type of music. KPOP newbies just don't know about all of this. But if you get to know them and giving yourself a chance, then you'll understand why they are the KINGS OF KPOP. My respect is on you BIGBANG. I hope this isn't goodbyes :(
I've missed your Big Bang reactions! I think this song was everything that fans needed at this moment. Also, it acknowledges that they are moving into a new phase in their life, just like most of their fans are. TOP's part saying he is "burying his anger" just makes me feel relief that he isn't carrying that with him any more. I hope they can all be happy in the future no matter what that means for Big Bang as a group.

This made me so nostalgic and just sad. They’ve been through so much. And we’ve been through a lot with them. I love them.
BIGBANG and 2NE1 are like my parents in kpop. They're the reason why i'm listening to kpop. I'm just 19 yrs old but i've been a VIP for 9 years now. So hearing this is definitely something that makes me happy and sad at the same time to like experienced this now after what they've been through because i've seen those tough times. This was definitely a very special comeback that is solely for VIPs like me. I'm also glad seeing a lot of reactors trying to get to know BIGBANG now eventhough it might be late but actually it's never too late to stan bigbang.
I actually didn't feel like this would be a Goodbye song but more of like them saying goodbye to their past traumas and starting a new life just like what TOP said in his part. i also thought that TOP would keep his mask on the whole video that's why when he removed it and look at the camera I may have just died there. TOP looks honestly so hurt, with his facial expression and his lyrics which hurt me also, especially because I've seen what they have gone through the past years and how much it affected them but TOP saying that he'll leave it all behind and start a new life, I definitely feel happy and proud for him because he deserves it. also with GD's part for me, the vibe that I got was that he's just sad and angry that this happen to them by the way he reminisces about the glorious days that they had which I understand because of all they've been through. Daesung, on the other hand, felt emptiness because of his scenes, lyrics, and him seating alone in one of the 4 chairs. and lastly, for Taeyang I feel like out of all them he's the one who is more content should I say. like he's content but hopeful at the same time especially because he has his own family, a baby coming on the way. yk so honestly this doesn't at least for me feels like a 'goodbye' song. what I think is that this may or may not be their last for now because they'll focus on their solo careers for now especially TOP since he has already mentioned in an interview that he's preparing to release a solo album. So, I feel like they'll just go on hiatus again but not a permanent goodbye just temporary, at least that's what I'm hoping.
And maybe I'm reaching, no I actually am but the four chairs + GD's personal chair... I mean if you know what I mean. ANYWAYS, this was such a beautiful, sad and happy just emotional comeback. It's been so freakin' long that I'll take whatever they put out lmao but honestly wished they had more songs but at the same time, I understand why it's only one song to make it more special.
Also, i don't want to compare this song with 2NE1's goodbye song because i feel like it's not a permanent goodbye. Maybe i'm just in denial but i've seen a lot of ppl saying this is their final song and i actually hate it. It'll be such a hard thing to accept if ever that happens esp i already lost 2ne1. Anyways, this was such an emotional comeback for me but at the same time i feel proud and happy for them and will always be a VIP. THAT FIVE LINES AT THE END!!!

It's a ballad, they rarely are together for ballads. But yes, Tabi bid his farewell on IG BUT he'll come back. He didn't leave BB after all, like officially, by contract, just YG the managing company.

This different feeling. I was crying for a lot of times watching the MV, maybe because of the comeback, the hidden messages, the minus one member or its just that I am so happy seeing and hearing another masterpiece. This comeback is very heartwarming, its like a healing to all the heartaches.

I keep thinking that the lyrics "I miss the boy and the girl cried and laughed, I keep remembering those glorious and loving days" refers to them and 2NE1. Those good old days where they were together and treat each other like brothers and sisters. Memories and this song's lyrics are hitting me right through the feels 😭😭😭
Bang Bang Bang is what got me into K-Pop and for the fact that that was 6 years ago seems crazy to me. I was super excited to see the Kings of K-Pop come back and this utterly destroyed me. I wish them the best in this stage of their lives and I hope that one day they do come back.
it's so bittersweet. as much as i want to say it's a comeback, it definitely feels more like a goodbye damn I've been sobbing all-day. i missed them so much and it is still great to hear them sing again. But the only time we seen them in one frame is the empty chairs, and i think that speaks for itself. and also TOPs verse, singing, lyrics and even the set broke me knowing everything he went through, as we all know he left YG, but at least we got to see him without a mask. Dang this whole thing is just heartbreaking

I came into Kpop a little later so I missed a lot of their stuff BUT I know that they have a HUGE fanbase in the U.S. So I have to go down the damn rabbit hole. This song is absolutely beautiful and I don't usually listen to slow Kpop songs but I have to add this one to my playlist and go on Spotify and listen to This is BigBang out of respect.
