Your content is so spot on my sister. Just needs a magic wand for my wife to help her explore the possibilities of relocating. leaving America the bound and going home to Africa to be free is hard to grip for some. Retired with financial support that box is covered. I will reach out to you for a consultation soon Shalom
Lol, hey Brian! Hope all is well with you and your lovely family! Brenda might be coming through more and more as I age lol! Hope you all have a blessed one!
Hi Kia, that was not specific to Rwanda, that goes for all countries in Africa. Unfortunately, especially during COVID, a lot of diasporans were having difficulty at their airport of departure in the US if they did not have a round-trip ticket. As a result, getting a round-trip ticket is usually the better option, however you need to make sure you are booking a ticket that allows you to cancel the flight back with no fees or penalties. Alternatively, you can proceed with booking a one-way ticket, and see how it goes at the airport.
That's great to know I went to College in the US and a few of my African friends are from Ghana and Kenya 🇰🇪. It was a small adjustment eating the food at first with my hands..lol 😅
I left Kenya in 2014 to move back to the US. Once the pandemic hit, i knew it was time to move back to the continent. I absolutely love Kenya, and it was my second choice (backup option) if Rwanda did not work out. I chose Rwanda for a variety or reasons..I have two videos on my channel that fully go into the reasons. One is titled "Reasons I chose Rwanda for Repatriation and Relocation". The second one is the recent video "Kenya vs. Rwanda". In short, I have love for both countries though! Hope all is well Big K!
@@visitplanventure All is great for me, thanks. I retired in 2021. I have been living between Brazil, Kenya, Rwanda, and Tanzania. I hope to decide on a place to settle next year. I'm a new first-time grandfather, so I'm temporally back in America to see my granddaughter.
@@bigk2198 Wow, congrats on the retirement and becoming a grandfather! Enjoy the time with your granddaughter. I have not been to Brazil yet, but definitely love Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania. I personally eliminated Tanzania as a relocation option because foreigners are not allowed to buy property there, but I still love to visit. The right country for you will definitely feel right when it is time...and it may be a country that you have not yet explored. West Africa also has some fantastic options! Have a blessed week and congrats again!
Wonderful, practical, realistic advice!

Have you visited other places in Africa and how was the experience
Yes, I have visited several other African countries. However, the countries in East Africa are by far my favorite!

Why did you leave Kenya for Rwanda?

Spiritual=Financial
Yes!
4hrs at the bank???? 😮
LOL @AfDiaspora....luckily in Rwanda it is not that bad (depending on the bank), but in a lot of other African countries, that is the norm!
