Great video. Thanks for taking the time to show the entire setup. Well done. Just an FYI, they are called guy lines (or guylines), not guide lines. You "guy out" your tent if you're expecting wind.
Great review! Inside the tent, the gear loops can be used with the Big Agnes LED mountain glow technology! It adds a nice touch and is very lightweight.
Awesome review my man. i just ordered the 2 person one, can't wait to get it and use it! I'm new to backpacking so I'm glad my firt tent will be a solid one.
I have been exploring tents for travel and come to love Big Agnes. Used the Salt Creek 2-person version recently. Very nice but decided I may not need all that space, cross-ventilation, and added weight (although not a lot either) for just myself. I was concerned a 1-person tent would be too cramped, but now seriously considering this model to make packing even lighter and easier. I do recommend the custom-fitted groundsheet, which I found very useful and also makes just setting up with the fly rather than the body easier. If using a different sheet, I suggest edges should not extend beyond the tent body to prevent rainwater from seeping in between it and the floor. Thanks for a great demonstration!
Same tent I got. To me maybe because I've never been in a actual backpacking tent the tent is a little small for 2 people. the material is very thin and I feel like I have to be very careful with it while setting it up and being in it. Definitely get the footprint. that way you can set it up fly first in case you have to set up in rain. that way you will not get the inside of your tent soaking wet. That is one of the main reasons others then the weight in the I got this tent. Also when it does get wet the material is a little bit more heavier. I'm registered to start my through hike on March 24th 2024! NOBO.. In Dawsonville Georgia on the approach trail.60 days to go and I will be on trail.

Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks. Very nice tent!
Your welcome! Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for taking the time to let me know.
Thanks for reviewing the newest 1p version!
I'm trying to set it up but I feel like the poles will break when I try to put them in the right section. Should this be a concern?
As long as your putting the correct color pole in the correct color hole you will be fine
