Yes, that makes sense and it's true based on my research of political science couple of years ago. Around the 1960s, Republic and Democratic parties flipped. Some modern Republicans believe that the Republic is a "good thing" because of what they did back in the 1850s. That is the wrong concept, I have to explain that we do NOT live in the 1800s anymore therefore we can't really follow the same because of the sole title itself instead of adapting ourselves to modern society. It's unfortunate that some people do not understand this. What you said is not much of a bias but very informative. Good job, sir.

Your history is just part of the story, Tar. True that police functions came out of slave patrol, but there is a bigger history that explains the story of POLICE. Look up the Enclosure Acts in England and Great Britain. In feudal times, excess farm goods were shared by workers on feudal estates. When trade became a major source of wealth between different countries, feudal lords wanted to use that excess for global markets (this was also the end of feudalism). They had to restrict those workers from the land and those excess products. Policing began here too. It was literally to protect the PRIVATE PROPERTY from the workers. Either way, Tar, policing has always been a war against the poor and working class. "Keep Cities Safe" is a code for Protecting the Rich and Locking Up the Poor & Marginalized. This is the broader history.

Thank u r sharing about Slave Patrols. Interesting subject! Yes, I am a white man myself. I feel ashamed for being white! I always enjoyed watching ur many different vlogs based on educational knowledge about history related to anything. When I was a teenager, I hated my disowned deaf stepdad r talk shit about blacks often. I beat him up r slurs racism on blacks. I told him u are fu-king sick man w no heart r blacks! I am glad he died long time ago! I have huge respect r who u are as amazingly black man.

There are "50/50%" good n bad policemen around us nowadays. Yes, ur right police brutality toward blacks much higher % than toward whites. Whites need ✋️ treating blacks as low class citizens. Hopefully, I will watch ur other educational vlogs soon or later. 😉
