Haha right :-). And thank you, it was just a kind of a last minute decision to film and talk about it. But I know there's not too many native English speakers that have done reviews and every review has its own insights. And yes, the exhaust has a great sound to it. Triumph did a great job! Edit: I just realized who you are lol.
Thanks for the heads up. I can on mine, but it does flash at me if I do. I've only had it up to about 8,000 or so a couple times when I was testing it. I'm still breaking it in. Great bike so far.
Please post updates as you're modifying this bike, I'm very interested in picking one up as a first bike. I think my goal would be for it to be dirt-road "competent" more than off-road "capable" but as a heavier rider (ideally riding would help motivate me to lose weight) I think I may need a stiffer suspension anyways.
Hey there. Yeah, that's kind of the plan anyways. Since I'm an early adopter here in the US I thought I would share my experiences. And as far as the suspension goes, it's actually surprisingly stiff. Not overly so, but I think you might be okay. And for reference, I'm 235 lb. As for being a first bike, aside from a being pretty tall I think it would be a good place to start. It handles well and it doesn't have too much power. It's also really smooth the shift. There was very little learning time.
@@MrTmax74 it was obvious that it was upside down. I thought you were testing us to see if we were paying attention. I have had my Triumph Tr-6 with a hard tail and magneto for 40 years. Reliable and dependable transportation as it was designed to be.
In my case the price was on point but the dealership I bought it from charges way too much for shipping and assembly. There's actually three dealerships in the company and they do it at all of them. I ended up getting them the drop the price of the bike around $600 before I would do it. The owners wouldn't allow them to drop the other costs. So in the end, it was fair in my case. It's unfortunate that there are dealerships ready and willing to take advantage of people, whatever it's form. Especially as money continues to devalue.
@@MrTmax74 In MI. I was just quoted 7k for the speed and about 7.5 for the X. Don't know if they were including setup and shipping. I was told that was the full price, but I didn't put it to the test. Thanks for the info :)

Hello. I think you would be just fine. You're not much taller than me. The bike is surprisingly tall and the handlebars are wide and quite high. I think it would fit you great.
thanks for your review. i was very confused to pick a bike between scrambler 400x or dominar 400(indian bike made by bajaj ) but now i will go for the scrambler @@scottroberts4551

just got mine a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely in love man. My first bike was a 150cc Kymco spade so this is quite the upgrade 😄👌👌
Very nice, congratulations. I hope it serves you well.
Nice review brother. The sound is quite good actually. Key quote: "If I get one, I know I want one" :)

Excited about riding with you on slab oriented Rides. Nice review of an apparent, Bike that "puts out". :)
Lol. Yep, and same here. It's going to be a great year.
I like the way you roll!
Thanks!
also, the bike has a built in break in limiter that wont let you go over ~ 6500 rpm until it passes 600 miles

Why is the Triumph pad on the crossbar upside down?
That's what you got out of this video? Lol. I hadn't spun it around to the front yet 😊. Rest assured, it stays forward-facing now. 🤗

Great looking bike. Too bad the MSRP and dealer pricing bears no resemblance. How do you determine a fair price? feels like haggling at a flea market.

I'm 6'3 and I just got one - fits fine. I will be adding Zana handlebar risers to make it even better and raising forks a bit.

I’m 6’2” and tried it and was fine for sure, it’s taller than the other bigger engined scramblers
@@connor25 thanks for sharing your thoughts man
What was their out the door price? I was going to purchase one today in Phoenix and they demanded 40% over sticker. I walked.
Wow, that's absolutely insane. Right about 8300 OTD.
Phoenix Triumph I assume. Their website has two in stock advertised at list. Sounds like a bad case of bait and switch.

max hp is at 8,500 rpm. Why do people do road reviews when the bike is intended as an all rounder for off road as well.
Are you specifically referring to my little review/test ride here? I was taking it for a test ride, not a joyride.
