What a phenomenal piece of engineering. The ability to control the compression, rebound and diff on the fly is just amazing. True drivers car. Thank you Porsche for still making cars like this. Hope one day I can buy one.
Anyone reselling this within a year with less than 5,000miles should be banned from buying another Porsche. Waste of allocation that could have gone to someone who would actually drive it. And resellers have the worst taste when it comes to spec.
I don’t imagine the driving level required to really exploit it (on a track of course !)

Not everybody is able to sustain such a maintenance cost, and even more for the new engineering masterpieces !!!
Is it available w/ a manual transmission? If not, it isn't a driver's car.
Same here💯 porsche is my favorite car brand, the 992 is my favorite. And to see where this model started, all the way to where it is now... Mind-blowing🤩
All the new features, but still the same sound that gives you goosebumps.
My dream is to become a testdriver for porsche (and participating in endurance races too ofc).

@@jeffer168 manual transmission is too slow for the kind of track performance this car wants to deliver. i mean i understand your point, but this is made to be the fastest, not the most enjoyable :)

More Insane is the Gunther Works 911 993 GT2RS 1225Kilograms and 700Horsepower and an insane Design Inside and Outside.
Shades of control that has been available on high end motorcycles for a few years, including Ducati which has some common ownership with Porsche. Seriously clever tech

Oh my word. That's a marvel of Engineering. Porsche has decades of racing knowledge and experience and able to put all the technology and innovation they learned into the 911 GT3 Rs is beyond phenomenal. Pure physics at work here. Porsche is like the NASA of Boeing of motorsports. Tremendous amount of work and time have gone into an icon which is now a potent track weapon. Excellent work Porsche!

Even if you could you need to be invited to purchase one. That’s the only thing I hate about some of these performance cars. It’s as if my money isn’t good enough. 🤷🏼

@@Zyphery0 The only way you can get one is to be one of the top buyers with a dealership. You would have to have bought 5 - 7 Porsche cars prior. I know from trying to get a GT4RS. Money can only get you one on the second had sale at a markup. If someone is willing to sale it to you. But you looking at 150,000 - 200,000 above MSRP.
@@TracesAllegory That has been my experience. You can not just walk off the street with deposit in hand and get an allocation for a GT3RS. Those allocations are slotted for the dealership's top customer. The only way to get the allocation is no one before you wants it. I have talked to like 20 different dealerships across the country. Even the dealerships that are selling these GT cars at MSRP are giving the top customers priority. Are you sells? If so give me an allocation right now.
There's only one real driver's car and It's a Porsche - This is the pinnacle of all cars! One last push before electric takes over I think!!!! Well done Porsche :)

This car is incredibly well engineered. As a result, Porsche surpasses itself every time. The new Porsche 911 GT3 RS is really a fascinating masterpiece!

Its pretty wild to see how far these cars progress every generation. Some stuff on this car as-standard was new tech in the LM GTE race class less than a decade ago.

My local dealer told me today that it’ll take 3-4 yrs to get delivered a norm 911. Could I dream this car in real life? Can’t hide these guys grins all the time in this stream. Thanks again for your wonderful work!
Ouch. Certain Porsche dealerships are doing shady things in the states these days taking no-interest loans from customers in order to be put on a "waiting list" for build slots that may never happen. I'd love to see legislation passed to eliminate the dealership-only model here.

@@barracuda6817 well objectively the gt2 rs > gt3 rs. You and I may prefer the sound of the gt3 rs but that is a matter of an opinion.
The gt2 rs is a more capable car.
@@alextasarov1341 objectively the 2rs has more power. But the 3rs is undoubtedly the purists' car. Porsche is good at making use of all the power they put in their cars, and the gt3 is an excellent example of such. The naturally aspirated flat 6 is a big selling point of the gt3, and I think you're underestimating that fact. You don't need 700hp to have a great time in this kind of car. A few seconds difference in a lap time really doesn't make a substantial difference to the overall driving experience. It's the same reason the Carrera T exists. Yes, it has less power than the BASE model 911, but it's the purists' car.
