And then he quits two days later anyway.

Should've just signed his forced retirement, been happy to be able to walk away with comfortable money for a while and moved on to another department.

He is greedy. If he had been satisfied with what he had, he would not have robbed the Armenian mafia

but he can't be a cop anymore?

@@rmir0 he can. other departments are always hiring ex-cops, especially small city PDs are looking for ones with investigation experiences. many lapd officers today are switching over to small city PDs. Santa Ana PD is one of them. a guy like vic would thrive in a department like that, knowing santa ana is already a shithole gang zone.

I never understood how they can take his pension, and it’s not like he couldn’t switch to another police department

Not while he has that bad conduct discharge from the Rampart PD. Now it depends on the police department but it's a small enough community that if you got bad mark in one department especially the type of raps he's got it gets around and it's as good as "black ball" "persona non grata".

@@808INFantry11X It's fairly common for cops who get terminated due to bad conduct to find employment in a different jurisdiction.

Also Aceveda wrote a very thorough report on Mackey which terminates his credibility to be sanctioned at a crime division in any precinct to work at
