    When I was a kid I watched the Dallas Dynasty. I remember thinking we will never be that good as a young Chiefs fan and then they hired the coach I was wishing we could get. Andy Reid is the best coach in the NFL and he has turned a good college football player into the best quarterback in the NFL maybe one day the goat! I went to the superbowl in Miami and watched something special being born! This is becoming not just a dynasty but they are becoming legendary! To all the fans and teams that Mahomes keeps destroying I’m not sorry I’m proud to say he is our quarterback 😂 better luck in the next 15 years

      No. If they win again then edging into dynasty area.

      I agree , I feel like this Super Bowl here puts KC in that dynasty conversation, unparalleled success in the last 4-5 years in the AFC, the best QB in the league and for the foreseeable future one of the best coaches ever… it’s a lot either way

      @@user-oc8sr3ml9m honestly I don’t think it ends the convo they lose , they’re still the team to beat in the AFC and the best team of the past 5 years but i definitely appreciate your perspective

    NFL didnt show other things, refs missed several holds that the ravens had on the chiefs plus they had a lot of dirty plays too. More than what they showed. Ravens showed no discipline on either side of the ball honestly.

    • @oksooners
      @oksooners 4 месяца назад +2

      Should have been a safety, when chris jones was tripped in the endzone. Alot of holds on jones most of the game. And never called. But we had a TD taken away on a picky hold call. Ball dont lie tho! We running it back!

  • @bookman7409
    @bookman7409 4 месяца назад +2

    Others have mentioned other things about the Ravens, but I just want to mention that the refs missed two nasty leg-whip trips by them. One I've only seen from a photo, but the other I saw in real time, when one of them whipped his leg around to prevent Chris Jones from ringing up a safety, right about knee level, but slightly above. Maybe in Baltimore they think that's just good, clean fun, but elsewhere, it's considered much, much dirtier. Knees are careers.

    The Ravens defense played great until it was time to get the ball back with 2 minutes on the clock snd Mahomes completed a 3rd and 9 to win the game. On 3rd snd 9. The best defense should have stopped that

    Putting jackson in the top QBs in the nfl is funny. Mid pack is what he is. Exposed every playoff shows what he is. A flashy runner average passer.

    • @bookman7409
      @bookman7409 4 месяца назад

      As a Chiefs fan, I disagree, at least to an extent. OK, quite an extent, but firstly, the man can run an offense at a better than average level, the RB stuff, block adjustments, etc., and he's an extremely competent game manager. Yes, he's still got a ways to go, and his legs are his biggest threat, but he obviously knows his legs are on a short timer, and his motivation there is pretty obvious. He's not a glorified RB, he's a legit QB, and one you can't blink too much against.
      That said, literally the better team won, and I'm elated we're going for the rematch of the century (so far). Let's go, Chiefs!

    • @bookman7409
      @bookman7409 4 месяца назад

      @@user-oc8sr3ml9m Considering that there are still those who believe Tyreek Hill broke his son's arm (while he was out of town), some never will. But here's the thing, the ones who never accept are always the loudest and most obnoxious minority.
      The ones that are harder to notice are fans like me, and presumably you, who can see past reputation and narrative, and see where things currently are.
      In fact, it was the very derision of him by many fans that motivated me to keep an eye on his development. Still, at the time they had a point, so I watched his passing game as it developed. Now we're here, and I stand by my assessment of him.
      Always nice to have a reasonable discussion on the internet, thank you for this one.

      @@bookman7409 I cringe at the lack of ability to hit tight passes. Its just not there for him. His vision is a tad lacking as well. Sometimes its coaching and game plan but there was guys open over the middle against the chiefs and he never through the ball. All i get told is he can run. Yeah ok well running QBs like him last as long as dogs that chase cars.......!!🤣

    • @bookman7409
      @bookman7409 4 месяца назад +1

      @@user-oc8sr3ml9m Yeah, you aren't wrong. Leaving out his legs, I'd describe him right now as a less experienced version of Kirk Cousins, good enough to be a starter, but not good enough to carry a team through a crisis game.
      That said, I still like Lamar, because I've seen him progress as a passer over the seasons. I also think he still has some ceiling as a passer, due to his coaches all along not focusing on his passing game.
      That puts him years behind the curve, but that's a lot of learnable/trainable stuff to improve. If he doesn't elevate his passing over the next season, I'll revisit where I think his ceiling is. For now, he's a decent, but not spectacular passer who has to run well to win the tough games, and is still dangerous.
      Mahomes' first TD to Kelce is not in Lamar's passing ability, but very few playing right now are consistently that accurate. We shall see.
