It imitates Samus by examining her DNA and making a reproduction of it by triggering a phenomenal, and violent mutation in its initial host body. Retro Hero 276 Dark Samus is dead for good, this time. With Phaaze (and all the Phazon) destroyed, even if she somehow survived the 6th beatdown from Samus, the death of Phazon would starve her out. MP4 is the gateway for our much-loved sharpshooter Sylux to make a grand entrance as the new antagonist.
Reckless Redcoat I see him more as anti hero through out the next chapter, I'm sure there will be another evil antagonist group which he may be involved with, or hell it would be badass if the galactic federation reveal their true nature and samus turns on them and allies with sylux and it's up to the both of you to take out the GF and in the end of some scenario stylus ends up risking his life for samus that would truly be a nice twist to nintendo beloved franchise for storytelling

I, for one, think Sylux needs to become a pivotal character, at least, given the level of intrigue and mystery Retro designed him with, alongside his cameos in Prime 3 and Federation Force.
This is a very solid remix. It's a faithful interpretation of the theme while still managing to be unique in subtle ways. Nice work. Can I expect more Metroid mixes in future? Some themes from Fusion, maybe?

It's going to be kind of weird having MP4 star Sylux as the main antagonist instead of Dark Samus. Perhaps some kind of delusion or ghost of sorts will appear as a boss (assuming they don't retcon all phason vanishing from the universe). If dark Samus doesn't Appear then it will be strange having it be "Metroid Prime" 4 and not actually having Metroid Prime in it. (Excluding Hunters and Federation Force, as spinoffs it's not too crazy)
Sylux is weak and low teir and not smart at all to fall for Goreas plan.. Only thing Sylux is good for is his Technical super nova based weapon and compatible suit.
This is a fantastic remaster, and should be the standard for remixes. Seriously, sometimes I just want an updated mix of a great song, and then people go and make obnoxious changes, or change the genre completely. RetroSpecter though? Nope, he just made a somehow better version of the original song, no biggie!
