Hey my friend, awesome content as usual. I'm glad that being blind doesn't make a difference when i watch planes land, take off, and such on your channel, you're awesome and i appreciate what you do.
i remember when i flew into Maui a few years back on Hawaiian. it was awesome! firm landing though due to high winds, but overall great experience. looking to fly for Hawaiian in the future.
WOWOWOWOOW!!!! Great views coming in. Right now, it's cooler in Maui than in so many places in the Continental US. Anyhow, time for me to rest of from the jet lag after watching this. My GF and I are going to the outdoor summer concert this afternoon. I'll rest up from the jet lag at the park.
Hey SP, incredible video as always. You make it look so easy. Lately, I have been flying and taking these in-flight videos with only a iPhone is not easy. I am amazed at how consistent your video quality is and the amount of content you release. You are the GOAT when it comes to these inflight videos! btw- want to thank you again for sharing your video tips. It has helped with my videos. Take it easy!
Thank you my friend, I appreciate that. I have worked really hard to consistently have the best quality content. I'm always appreciative when that's recognized and when people acknowledge that it's not so easy haha. I get a lot of comments to the tune of "oh must be so nice to just fly all over the place." And they have no idea how much work actually goes into it. That it's not all just fun jet setting everywhere. So thanks my friend! I really do appreciate that!
I especially enjoy flying on Hawaiian Airlines during the month of March. In Hawai`i, March is `Ōlelo Hawai`i (Hawaiian language) month. Hawaiian Airlines designate select flights as `Ōlelo Hawai`i flights. The entire flight crew - attendants and pilots - are fluent in `ōlelo Hawai`i, and they address passengers in hawaiian after which english translation is spoken. E ola mau i ka `ōlelo Hawai`i. Long live Hawaiian language.
Hello! I have been watching your videos from pretty much it even started. It's never failed to amaze me. Great filming! I'm not sure where you will be coming back to from Hawaii...but if it's at KLAX, I am ready to plane spot and see your plane 😁
I think you meant to say that his videos never disappoint. If they "never fail to disappoint", which is what you wrote, that means they always disappoint. I'm pretty sure that's not what you meant!
I knew what you meant 😁. I'm glad you enjoy the videos my friend. At the moment, I'm not planning to be back in Hawaii until November. But then I'll be there twice in pretty a pretty short time period.
Great fly! Have you heard the airfare price went down thanks to inflation going down to 3%, the lowest since pre-pandemic and gas prices also went down? What do you think? For reference, the August 2022 US inflation was 8.2%.
Well, I don't always. I often times upload flights pretty quickly after I take them. On the other hand, I do sometimes sit on footage for quite awhile before I post it. The reason why is because I have to have a lot of footage in backlog to keep up with daily uploads. If I only had a few videos in backlog, I'd never be able to post daily because when I travel to get footage I'd have nothing to post. So, I sit on a lot of backlog to cover for when I'm traveling. Basically, it's just so I don't run out of things to post.
Skylite you should do a vid in American Airlines Boeing 737 to Cartagena Columbia South America from Miami start from Miami to Cartagena i did that trip before you should do it to your fans:)
I appreciate the suggestion my friend. There's a long list of suggestions people have sent in. Unfortunately, I only have so much money haha. I have it down as something to look into. Thanks for watching!
Yes, I hope to fly it as soon as they enter service. The potential downside is that Hawaiian Airlines is notorious for wanting all passengers to close their window shades. They make multiple announcements on every flight about "enhancing everyone's flight experience flight" by keeping the cabin pitch black... It's very annoying and as someone who not only needs the window open to film, but someone who enjoys having a window seat to have the window open, they make you feel guilty about not closing them. So, my fear is that because the 787 windows can be controlled by the crew, the crew will just always lock them out so people can't use them. I spend a lot of my own money on these flights and the reason I don't fly 787's in general is because I can't spend all this money one flights just to have the windows locked out so I can't film. Hopefully Hawaiian crews won't do that.
@@sla31oh wow that's news to me! I wasn't aware the crew could force the windows to black out. I'd definitely not fly the 787 if that were the case. 😨
@@TomatoSandwich39 yup, sadly the crew can auto dim all the windows at once and then lock them so you can’t control it. United and American had so many complaints from passengers that they told their crews they had to leave the windows in passenger control, but sometimes they still do it 😩. Since Hawaiian is so big on announcing that people should close their windows, I’m afraid they’ll just lock them and not care what the passengers think 😩.
So you tube recommends this and there's a baby crying, what a sado-masaquist I'd have to be to want to hear that and actually enjoy the video. I guess I actually believe this economy is a good thing. PLLEEEEAASE!! 😅😅
ugh that kid in the background, I don't knoiw how you made that whole flight with that constant noise. There really should be an age limit for flights, kids can completely ruin a long flight and make it so much worse.
It important to remember what others have already stated. We were all kids once. And no one can say they never had outbursts, because that's one way that small children use to alert their parents that something is wrong. Remember, that small kids can't verbalize what they need. Sometimes when traveling, where schedules are all messed up, it can be hard as a parent to realize exactly what they need. And remember that small children can't clear the pressure in their ears like adults can. Often times children are fussy during takeoff and landing because their ears hurt. It's annoying. It is. Even as a parent I admit that it's annoying. But... It's life. There's nothing you can do about it, expect sympathize for the child and parents. So, IMO it's not something worth getting upset over. Now, there's a difference between a small child who is in pain or needs something and an older child who's just being bratty. Most of the time though, it's the first option. Anyway, thanks for watching everyone!

Wow that was an extremely smooth landing.
Beautiful landing! Heading out of KOA today, boarding here shortly!
Can’t wait to go back!!

I live through you, lol, thanks for sharing!
cool.reminds me of my Tenerife (canary islands) approach years ago
Those ailerons were doing some work! Wind was hammering the fuselage from the right side.
Beautiful landing! Thanks!

The A330 is such a smooth plane. Also very talented pilots on Hawaiian airlines always!
If it ain't Boeing I ain't going!😉

Surprisingly butter landing for OGG, with the crosswinds and short runway. Good job by the Captain.
Greased that landing.
