Like many countries in Asia, Vietnam is a great place to go motorcycle touring. It's also easy to find two wheels and an engine, there are a few basic things one should be aware of before hitting the road.
Here are a few general tips that can improve anyone's journey:
1. Vacation spots are packed on local holidays.
2. Book your lodging beforehand.
3. Don't get a junker "franken-bike"
4. Don't hand out candy to kids.
5. Local Vietnamese hotels are worth trying.
6. Avoid major highways, dangerous trucks.

Tks for the tips Mr G. Can you compare riding in vietnam to other places in Asia? I remember riding "bebek" bikes as a teenager in indo, I don't remember the chaos like in your videos. Also, I didn't see an email from you, did you send one? Tks, Mike
