Moc Chau Enduro 2024
In early March, we had our first Enduro of the year at the Moc Chau Island resort and amusement park. It's also the location of the glass bridge - the longest suspension bridge of its type.
I had just gotten my WR250F back from an extensive engine rebuild and hadn't practiced riding in nearly half a year. However, I was able to finish my first 2 heats. I didn't qualify for the final race, but enjoyed the race overall. The location was beautiful, the facilities were nice, the weather was cold and dry, the track was fun.

Graham Jarvis Training: Hanoi Vietnam
Просмотров 7836 месяцев назад
In December 2023 Graham Jarvis made his first visit to Hanoi Vietnam. Jarvis ran a 2 day training course on enduro techniques at Dirt Town MX track to about 20 riders coming from around Vietnam as well as a trail ride in Soc Son. It was a highlight for everyone the off-road scene in Vietnam to have one of the best riders in the world come to Hanoi, especially since dirt biking sports have only ...
Lai Chau Enduro 2023: 2 of 2
Просмотров 3906 месяцев назад
In December 2023, I went with Team Dirt Town to race in the Lai Chau Enduro, the last race of the year in Vietnam. It was a long bus ride out, but was a great track in a beautiful valley. I took a KDX 125 to the race, but crashed the bike and didn't qualify for the final because my bike wasn't running properly. I was able to watch and film the final race, where my friends Ben and Kavin raced. B...
Lai Chau Enduro 2023: 1 of 2
Просмотров 3097 месяцев назад
In December 2023 the small town of Lai Chau held the last enduro of the year. It was a fairly easy track of a classic enduro nature except for the several river crossings which provided the biggest challenge. I used my back up bike, an old, half-functioning KDX125. Although I did finish the track, I had a number of mechanical problems which put me way in the back of the pack. My friend Kavin at...

Moc Chau Enduro 2023 May

This was my third enduro in Moc Chau, it was sponsored by VTV5. The weather was a bit hot and sunny, and the track was fairly short. During the qualifier, I twisted my thumb. However, I finished the qualifier and did reasonably well. Despite being placed in the middle heat on the final race, I bowed out and watched my friends race. Our new friend Ben Spill won first place in the Pro class, surp...
Gaerne Fastback Endurance: Long Term Boot Review
Просмотров 2,6 тыс.Год назад
This is my review of the Gaerne Fastback Endurance boots. I've used them for several trail rides and a few Enduro races in a hot sub-tropical climate for about 5 months. So far, I've been impressed with the boot. Advantages: 1. Hand made in Italy with genuine leather. 2. A visually attractive appearance. 3. White is great for hot sunny weather. 4. Ample foot and ankle protection. 5. Reasonably ...
Soc Son Ride: Chris Hits the Trails
Просмотров 254Год назад
In this video, we go to our favorite trail riding spot, Soc Son. We had a large group of people, and one guy was new to enduro riding - Chris. We were hoping to do some easy trails for the new guy, but started off on something more difficult than we realized. Although we had a few falls, no one was seriously hurt, and we did over 2 hours of trail shredding. Soc Son, Hanoi, Ha Noi, motorcycle, m...
6 Tips for Moto-Touring in Vietnam
Просмотров 84Год назад
Like many countries in Asia, Vietnam is a great place to go motorcycle touring. It's also easy to find two wheels and an engine, there are a few basic things one should be aware of before hitting the road. Here are a few general tips that can improve anyone's journey: 1. Vacation spots are packed on local holidays. 2. Book your lodging beforehand. 3. Don't get a junker "franken-bike" 4. Don't h...
Jai's KLX250: First Run in Soc Son
Просмотров 228Год назад
My friend Jai bought a KLX250 Dual sport in Virtually mint condition. The next week, we went to our local trail riding area called Soc Son to give it a "baptism of fire". He had ridden an XR150 for a few years, so riding a 250 was a bit of an adjustment. We started on a basic dirt road, then took a spin up a more demanding trail we call the "fun hill". The rains made it a bit slick and rutted, ...
LS2 Subverter Helmet: Long Term Review
Просмотров 597Год назад
After almost 2 years of using the LS2 Subverter helmet for off road, trail riding, motocross and enduro, I'm giving a long-term review of the LS2 Subverter helmet. The positive aspects of this MX helmet are: 1. Variety of color choices (I like white). 2. Lots of ventilation. 3. Close fitting, not flopping around. 4. Removable liner, helmet is very washable. 5. Safety compliance: MIPS, DOT, ECE ...
6 Tips for Rain Riding in Hanoi

I took my dirt bike out after a rain storm for a brief spin. In this video, I give a few tips to rain riding in Hanoi. Although many motorcyclists in other countries do NOT ride in the rain, this is not a realistic option for most people in Vietnam, because bikes are a main form of regular transportation. Thanks for watching my video, please give your Likes and Comments, your interaction is gre...

Speed Limits in Hanoi: technical vs practical
Loved this. Can't believe how they transformed it to such a beaut. Would love to ride in Nam someday.
Good experience. I support your passion Let's go riding with a Korean offroad team next time
Thanks - I hit Soc Son fairly often, but usually on my WR250F.
ah man, this is an amazing edit. I cant even imagine the time spent making sure batts are charged, yada yada., much less the race itself . Great edit man. new sub. Your work deserves more views.
Thanks, the filming wasn't too hard. The editing - that took about 40 hours or more, and the last scene took almost 2 hours to prep and film.
Nice one. Keep enjoying that beautiful bike. I want to do a adv bike rally too with my warhorse
I think that I'll just keep the Warhorse for dirt roads and use my WR250F for races and trails. I really like your channel, nice videos on it.
@@PrasaaraNa I've just acquired some new production equipment 😁 so the quality of the content will go up a lot soon. Thanks for your encouragement dude.
💪💪💪👏
Thank you very much for your views and comment.
This bike is sick Caleb!!!!
It's a 1997. A classic in Great shape
Thanks. It's not good in the mud, but I feel lucky to own it.
Nice CSI Miami ending. 😂
Thanks. It took a bit of time to film.
Very nice looking boots and good protection for your type of riding. I agree about the colour and the temperatures outdoors.
Thanks. People don't realize how much of a difference that wearing light shades can make. Black is a NO go in summer.
This trail has a huge view around and beautiful green grass.
It's one of my favorite places to ride.
This one is Nice bike. There are beautiful trial on the hill of rain forest moutain
It's very close to Hanoi.
Have you watched from ARaimann1 Motology films?
He's got a Great channel. Adam has good video and writing skills
Yes, I like Adam's videos. He likes many of the bikes that I do.
Great review sir. Helped me cement my decision to go with these instead of tech 7. Not made in china is huge to me haha.
Yes, I like Aplinestar gear, but their boots are too soft for me, and no stitched sole.
Interesting to note that the first pill boxes ever made were Russian, used in the Russo Japanese war.
War horse aka “the titanic”
It felt like it. What a land ship to use in the mud.
His bike sank in the mud half way at song hong enduro tho 😝
It isn't the easiest to use on soft ground.
Beautiful bike
Thanks. It's a classic.
It is a lot better with the native sound
Thanks. I'm still working on sound quality.
Nicky done brother
Thanks. It is a lovely bike, worthy of TLC.
Just came home from Hanoi Vacation around 2 weeks ago. Im from Philippines which the driving habits are not as good as it should be. But oh boy I was really surprised how Vietnamese local drives. One of our tour guide jokes about certain countries drives on the right hand and some at the left hand side of the road. In Vietnam, they drive in the middle 😂
Thanks, Vietnam is a bit crazy, but not as bad as India in my opinion.
Ive been riding a long time and its just my opinion but you should upgrade for your next pair of boots.
Yes, Good advice. I have been using Gaerne Fastback boots for the past year. Those Elements were starter boots.
@@PrasaaraNa Nice choice!👍
Are they good for highway use too
Hey man, located in SEA (PH) as well. How were you able to purchase a pair here? Gaerne site says it doesn’t ship to this region
Find a motocross store near you or an American based website. I had no problem ordering a pair in Canada
Best review of subverter so far, thanks 👌
Not a complaint, just an observation. Nice Top Gear reference - I see what you did there.
Nice to see you catch that. I just couldn't help myself.
Barry says it's his favourite video thus far
And we all know he is your number 1 fan
Thanks, I expect a comment on each video from my self professed "number one fan". ;-)
I am sorry for the negative remark but I just don´t get it , this is a review of a boot you haven't tried out yet properly , correct?
Thanks for the reply. I always use a product heavily before I post a review. If you look at 8:26, you will see me using the boots in a race in May 2023 at Moc Chau - I used the boots from January to June before I gave my review. In fact, you can watch that race in the video titled: Moc Chau Enduro 2023 May, you will see me using the Fastbacks in the race. It's a fair point to wonder about online reviews, but as you can see from my LS2 Subverter helmet review, I always put heavy use into any product before I give a review - at least 6 months or 30+ hours of use. Feel free to have a look at my other videos, thanks for your views and comments, take a look at my Graham Jarvis training video if you have the chance.
Man, that's like having Shaq coming over to train your local basketball team. Cool.
Thanks for the views and comments - it was amazing to have him come by.
5:50 Incredible that he could meet such enduro champion, and I can imagine Jarvis was stoked to finally meet up and learn a few pro tips from Jude.
Hah, I'm sure Jude on the Honda Wave really impressed Graham.
A great video, I love that
Thank you very much for the views and comments.
That is a wonderful experience!
Thanks for watching. I really appreciate the feedback.
Awesome video again 🤙
Thanks. Let's see if I can finish a race next time.
Wonderful video. I love it.

Thanks for the interest. Check back for more videos.
Nice video. That crash must have left a mark
It did, on my face.
Sick video Caleb. We want part 2! 🤙
That may take a little while. Each video takes 30-40 hours of editing.
😮😮😮😮🎉🎉
Thanks for your continued support.
Great video... impressed how you stuck with it
Sometimes in endurance races - finishing is an accomplishment in itself. Especially with a faulty vehicle.
Just watched it. What an epic race. Love the drama and the voice commentary. On the edge of my seat the whole time. Oh ya, and loved the Super Mario sound effects. Well done. You’re in first place for best video.
Thanks. You have no idea how many hours these things take to edit.
Awesome!!!
Thanks for watching. Feel free to share my videos, every view is appreciated.
Dude, it's Motocross, not Motorcross.
Thanks for the input. I'll just go check out your channel to see how a real off-road video is done. I'm sure your content catalogue is extensive and a Noob like me can learn a lot from each of your videos.
Have you ridden with Bob Hannah, Kent Howerton, Danny LaPorte, Broc Glover, Marty Smith, Jeff Ward, any of those guys? I have.@@PrasaaraNa
Always the best video to when i get depressed. Thank bbro you helped me alot

Thanks for watching. I'll try to get Part 2 out in the next week or so.

Thanks, it was my favorite trail -ever.
Nice!

Nicely done! I haven't watched one of these in a while. You nailed the audio levels by the way. Great narration too!
Thanks for watching. Please check out my other videos. Every comment and view is appreciated.
Cool Caleb :)
Thanks. When are you coming along on a trail ride?
Really awesome!
Isn't it strange that so many boots don't have dorsiflexion lockouts? (toes pointing up) That's a super common injury, and boots that already have plastic mounting points that don't add a little tab to keep the boot from folding forward too far just confuse me. Like even I could make a lockout for that boot with a bit of steel wire.
Thanks for the comment. It's hard to find boots that have all the features that would be best. Thor Radial seems to have good lockouts, but their soles are not stitched - that's a deal-breaker for me.
