Ugghh. I have to disagree on the whole smart thing, yes it's great right now, but what do i do 10 years from now when Hunter no longer supports the app? Yes i will use the Wifi feature, but i also want easy to use a physical interface on the controller. I'm currently looking to replace my 20yr old controller, not because there is anything wrong with it. It's just a too convoluted when it comes to programming it and trying to change settings. Thank you for showing the controller though.

JB - there is no reason Hunter would stop supporting their app. Unlike other smart controllers, like Rachio, Hunter has a user interface so you’ll be able to easily program it directly at the controller. This is a very popular controller among professional installers.

Don’t get boxed into a corner with this none modular none reparable controller. The only part available for this unit is the front door. Hunter makes a modular version the HPC controller that’s expandable and you can replace any part.

This controller is not reliable . If you are remote when it goes down, nothing gets watered. It will be a disaster.

Thanks for sharing! Curious if there might be a way to help figure this out. Feel free to contact us. The controller should operate as programmed without a remote connection. Happy to help.
