Sam Raimi's such a great guy and brilliant director! Spiderman 1 and 2 were the best superhero films ever made, it's a shame he didn't get doing HIS vision for the finale. It's still great to see him making great films, and I liked this one!
In the 1990s, Sam Raimi had planned to direct Thor under Twentieth Century Fox, but the studio passed on the project. Raimi would later direct a trilogy of films on Spider-Man and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), two other Marvel Comics superheroes.
