Only a few minutes into the video but a heads up. You're supposed to also use new sprocket bolts when you change them. I normally don't but I keep a very close eye on them because I do see them come loose very often. It's gets catastrophic and destroys the whole hub ect. Never ever paint those fork tubes. Suspension companies use special coatings on the legs and tubes look it up. If anything you anodize the uppers.

Fair on the bolts but I am very picky on pre trips and post trips. I've had bolts come loose that were torqued and they've come loose a few times. 15,000 rpms for 15 minutes at a time twice a day will definitely do that

@@StevenMiller2 just giving you the heads up. I just did chain and sprockets last night on my xr100 that's built and roughly 15hp and kept the same bolts. I kept the same bolts a few times on my 450s also. But I've seen quite a few horror stories and it doesn't end pretty. Just make sure to keep an eye on them because they could come lose.

Lol all the shops are closed Mondays because they are open Saturdays that’s their busy day. Also I wonder if a 1000 engine would swap in your bike? They are more common than the 750 engines. The big thing on the ‘80s Suzuki’s was the 7/11 swap 1100 engine in a 750

Personally a 1000 is just too much for the PA highways. Just my opinion. A 750 is a perfect in between bike you can still swing in the twisties and still have a relatively good power band. The amount of people that have 1000s that can't actually harness the full potential is crazy. There's more to a bike than just twisting the throttle. I still like to hit minor corners from time to time. Obviously not a GP racer by any means.
If I had my choice between two bikes for the street up here the 636 Kawi and the 750 gsxr are my two picks. I did digging on a 1000 swap and they're just two completely different bikes whereas the 600 and 750 are the same frame so they bolt right up and use a lot of the same parts so it was a no brainer.
