Remember that episode in Comedies of Steel 1 where Jin names his tools? Well, he has "new friends" now, Gabriel and Shaarii. Jin explained that he considers communication while working on mechas is important, hence why he names his tools and treats them as partners during work. He seems to have convinced Socks to do the same. Which is fine, except Wappa noticed it...

He says that these tools are basically his companions/friends and he talks to them while building stuff. Good communication is important! - Socks is very empathetic with Jin, saying that naming a tool can make you grow attached and appreciate it more. Jin is delighted. Socks also mentions he has a compass he uses a lot when drawing blueprints and he might give it a name to try it too. Jin says that if he does maybe he could introduce them. - [LATER] Socks names his compass Oscar and shows it to Jin. Jin, speaking for the new tools, says they are pleased to meet Oscar.
