Just subbed! I don't even own a Steam Deck (yet), but your video's still are very enjoyable to watch! About recommendations: Have you played the Star Ocean The Second Story R yet? it's a remake of Star Ocean The Second Story for the PSOne, and it's a very good one! I've played the PSP remake of the game a few years back, after finishing the first game. I hadn't really played a lot of J-RPG's before this but these games blew me away and were some of the best gaming experiences I had in years. I've played more J-RPG's since then. I haven't played the full version of the remake yet, but I did play the demo on Steam, which basically let's you play the regular game with a 3 hour time limit per save file, so I feel like I have a good grasp of the game's quality. The latest remake is an incredible improvement over the PSP version in every way. I considered the PSP version one of the best games I've ever played, but there were still a few annoyances and things that could be done better. The remake fixes all of those things and more, while also staying true to the original versions on the PSOne and PSP.
Hey thanks that’s really nice of you to say! 😄 Aah I’ve not played Second Story R but it is one that I’d like to play, I thought the trailers looked cool and I like the art style a lot! Do you need to play the 1st game or is it okay as a standalone?
@@tomfinler It's fine to play without having played the first one. They are mostly separate games in the same universe. They are somewhat connected to each other though, mainly the male protagonist of SO2 being the son of a character from SO1, but that's about it.
I've NEVER been into souls like games but that crab game looks bloody brilliant LOL. Reminds me of the good old days of James Pond & RoboCod on the Amiga. I have a Steam Deck 1Tb OLED on the way so maybe I will give it a shot, thanks!

I’m glad there was one that you liked the look of! I didn’t realise quite how many James Pond games they’d made 🤣 enjoy your OLED when it arrives!
