They called and said “Hey we know your following KETO but we suggest you start a statin to bring down your LDL” I laughed and said “Now you know that ain’t happening!!” 😂 she said okay well come back in 3 months for a recheck” I told them to read your book! Asiya whaa I’m same belief. Unfortunately my upbringing didn’t give me healthy food which I have been trying to reverse the damage since 40, 21 years. Also had a traumatic childhood and I’m sicker than hell. You must’ve had a good diet and lifestyle as a child. These things all play into our later health. My mother is healthier than me, she is 89. This is because she was brought up without dysfunctional causing stress and a totally healthy diet because they ate out of their huge garden year round, no supermarket food. They had their own cows and chickens etc. and she is STILL healthy even tho she began to trust prepared foods, starting in the 1950s. So I have a garden, eat no prepared foods, never go to doctor. Still, I am so ill. I’d rather die at home than go to a doctor or emergency room hospital. They don’t know how to help people, they do know very well how to totally screw people up permanently.

    It's easier to deceive people than to convince them that they have been deceived.
    "Lying is the preferred tactic provided that the lie is told first and repeated over and over again. People tend to believe what they hear first and develop a deep seated prejudice against anything that refutes the lie. This is especially true when emotion is used to fortify the lie. Tie the lie with a deeply emotional story that vilifies the opposition."

    Great interview. I love both these guys . I follow Dr. Berry, he's the best. I started keto about 7 mos ago. Im a type 2 diabetic for over 20 yrs. I was taking 1500 metformin a day. In march i mentioned my dr that i started to follow a low carb diet, she just looked at me & didnt say anything. My latest blood work shows my a1c 5.4 from 7.2 in december. I asked her what about the meds. She wants me to keep on taking them WTF?? My cholesterol, according to her, extremely high, she wants me to take even more statin, i havent taking any meds in 3 months. My sugar every day is very well controled. Im going to find another dr. Im not even taking my tyrhoid meds. I have the blood work. What is the normal tyrhoid numbers?? Can someone give me an idea? I really appreciate it. I also lost lots of lbs. From almost 170 to 120 now. BTW im 59 yrs old. Im on OMAD😊

    I heard Dr. Berry say one time that he was allergic to everything. I am too. I have to take Cetirizine every day because I'm allergic to everything. One day the dentist gave me a sample of Crest toothpaste. When I used it, my lips and throat started swelling (I took activated charcoal right away). I told my doctor on my next appointment. He said there was no such thing. Next appointment he APOLOGIZED!!! He researched it and there's an ingredient in there, I can't remember which, that I am allergic to and he knew I was allergic to it. He apologized. I was stunned. But now he doesn't hesitate to listen to my POV or go a more natural way to fix something that's bothering me. He's looking for a replacement GP because he wants to retire. I'll miss him. Loved this video, keep up the good work, Ben. - Nicole

      I experienced the same thing. After brushing my teeth I kept over salivating and my body kept trying to spit out the remnants of the toothpaste no matter how much I rinsed. It lasted up to an hour. My Dentist tried to tell me I had dry mouth. If you look at the label on the tube you’ll notice that toothpaste is actually poisonous. And small children can’t have more of a pea size amount. Why are we using a product with poison control directions on it? Currently I use Dr. Bronners brand with no negative results. I’m sure more natural solutions are available.

    Just came across your channel by following Dr Berry. great interview and i have now subscribed. Id like to share a quick story about in regards to the restaurant food. I quit drinking the 6-8 bud lights a day that i had and i've been doing keto for almost 5 months now and feeling pretty good. Down 25 pounds and all my rumbly grumbly stomach issue are almost non existent. A couple weeks ago and went a hung out with a buddy at his pool so i decided i deserve a cheat day and had a few beers. ( there's been about 3 times i had a beer or two while grilling outside and it doesn't have any major harm in the way of throwing me out of ketosis as long as i limit it). BUT... we went out to eat at a hot dog shop..like 101 different hot dogs and hamburgers..so i figured CHEAT DAY! so i had the pastrami fries and some loaded hamburger all fried in crap..about 2 hours later after i got home i literally threw up 3 times cause my body was rejecting the shitty food..( and no it wasnt to much beer, didn't have enough for that although it didnt help either..lol) for the next week my ketones levels were almost non existent and i could just feel the fuel i was burning for energy was crap...finally a week later im starting to feel normal again. Its like you said in the interview..is it really worth the 5 minutes of "pleasure". my lesson? think twice about how and what you might cheat with and is it really worth it. better yet.. try not to cheat.

      Hey Howard, thank you for watching my interview with the amazing Dr. Berry. I appreciate your story too. When your body gets healthier, it will reject the toxic foods you used to eat so frequently. Having this awareness is huge the next time you have the temptation to cheat. Thanks for sharing!

    That’s a good question. I think no more than 3 a day, but then it might have to do with each individual as some people can not tolerate a lot of coffee. Mine is about three cups a day. I got an old fashion Presto percolator because I don’t like the plastic coffee pots or the Kuerigs . Just my personal preference because of everything I’ve read about them.

    My friend has cellulitis really bad. I private messaged her about Keto and she refuses to do it. Later she sends me this: “Sandy, Dr. has me on 2000 mg. of Metformin.a Day and 25 mg of Januvia..try to watch carbs keep it under 150 a day..I use spenda to sweeten everything..I'm thinking about going vegan because some meats literally make me sick to prepare them?.”
    She will lose her leg if her sugar isn’t controlled. It must be frustrating to be a good doctor and people not heed to your advise. This is certainly frustrating to me. I know Keto can help her!

    • @MrDavidknigge
      @MrDavidknigge 5 лет назад

      LDL is low-density lipoprotein. It is a protein vehicle, like a bus, that carts triglycerides and beneficial lipids through the bloodstream. When you are keto (fat burning) you naturally have more of them. NOTHING to be anxious about as long as you are a low carb eater.

    We just are our supper (as we call it). Was making beets because of your video I watched On RUclips. However made a quick decision after I put them in the pan to cook them. I had Nellie’s pickled beets which we have ate in the past. Unfortunately after I had them on the stove cooking I decided to read the label. My goodness, I was so disappointed. High fructose corn syrup, spice (which is actually another word for MSG, which I stay away from. So I had to make a decision eat them or throw them out, yes I decided to throw them out and we had green beans instead, with bacon grease and Mrs. Dash original seasoning. I guess I’ll be buying regular beets and canning them myself. So disappointed. I’m going to try the stems fried in bacon grease and see how they taste. Might be my new thing to eat, since I don’t do smoothies now. Thanks again for a great video.
