Please load us up with Sunbreak guides. I'm super rusty and need some thorough combat guides with all these new skills. Your content is always top notch! Thanks for all you do!!
All of this qol and new environmental interactions sounds great. I always thought they could do something cool with the dango order and it looks like they executed on it.
Calling the franchise a "boss fight game" is like how they keep labeling it an "RPG:" it's both technically wrong and gives the wrong impression, which is exactly what you want to _avoid_ when trying to convince people who have never played to play it. (Just a huge pet peeve.) "I thought this would be like a Mega Man boss rush romhack! _But with D&D stats!"_
Yeah i would like to play this Monster hunter... But it's on switch and it's an old ass looking game that went back to lame mechanics from the ps2 games.
I’m playing on PC and although the game looks great and plays really well it doesn’t have the same feel that MHW had. It’s defo worth playing though but if you do try to not compare it to MHW too much otherwise you may not like it!!
@@kato093 how?? Just played it myself and its far from Older style, combat still feels more like World than old gen, the map does feel and design closer to older style (which I prefer World gets too cluttered), Its a mix but definitely more modern style than old world style You sure you're not mistaking this to generations Ultimate?
This game is easier than Dark Souls. Let me explain why. You see in Dark Souls: 1. You don't have infinite healing 2. Attack cost stamina 3. Fall damage Dark Souls is way harder than Monster Hunter Edit: also I forgot you only have 1 try per boss in Dark Souls
I was considering this type of thing a few weeks ago, however, I think it's an inaccurate comparison. Here's why. The difficulty of a Souls boss is condensed down into a super tight 2 to 4 minutes, where smaller mistakes make a larger impact. In Monster Hunter, that difficulty is spread out wider, across 10-20 minutes. This makes for more of a build focused "endurance" difficulty, not necessarily a raw dexterity focused difficulty.
*Got some really cool Sunbreak guides coming up! Seeya soon!* _-BoomstickAlex_

I have MANY. Two coming late tonight. Another tomorrow afternoon. Another another the day after that!
It’s crazy how an ign employee plagiarizing a random RUclipsr lead to me discovering one of my favorite monster Hunter content creators! Great video!
Funnily enough I saw rise on sale so I bought it 3 days ago and now sun break just dropped well I guess I’ll see everyone next year
Awesome review bud.
The only thing I’m disappointed in is there isn’t a giant slab of meat you can eat at the new village instead of Dango.
saaame not a fan of the dango so I was really hoping for something new I:
