In order to guarantee a safe execution of the passenger transport by helicopter, with the associated winch operations, not only a qualified helicopter crew is necessary, but also a well-founded "Hoist Passenger Training" for the transported personnel. Safety, behaviour and procedure instructions in a theoretical part, as well as during helicopter ground operations, with a briefing in boarding, winch operation and communication procedures are all part of the hoist training at HeliService. Finally, a practical training of the hoist and winch operation procedures in helicopter flight operations is carried out. This training is designed for all personnel and rescue teams who are transported by helicopter to offshore wind turbines. A certificate will be handed out upon successful participation.
