That was great. Thanks Trevon for giving us an insight in into the touring life. Get that backhand consistent, mate! Looking forward to seeing you have a great 2025.

Charlie, I think you were kind of hinting at it at the end but we need to change our demographics and become more marketable to outside investors.
It's been mentioned before that the money in disc golf comes from other disc golfers. That's why I think increasing presence at the high school and college level would go a long way. There's no short term solution aside from some kind of LIV situation.

Great episode. Props to Trevon for coming on AND to you guys for reaching out. - Everyone can play disc golf like everyone can play pickleball, I/we don’t know why the demographics are more narrow.

For the past couple of years I have been begging content creators to interview guys like Trevor so we can hear first hand how they survive? I am also begging people to start discussing the whole player rating nonsense more. I believe that it should be eliminated, and start having players receive "course" ratings" instead for each course that they play. It makes much more sense.

so as I took a break from having watched the first 20 minutes of the interview, and now watching the remainder an hour later, if Trevon did not have any support from MVP. or any other company sponsorship $$...he would probably not be able to even tour at all except for playing a bunch of local C-Tier + B-Tier events near home, and a handful of A's with slightly larger purses near home. Playing Tour events would be difficult. I think that the higher you are on the world rankings, then you pay the full registration price for signing up for events. The lower ranked you are as far as world rankings, the less you should pay for registration. So bottom line...overall...the more talented you are on Tour...the more it should cost to tour...
