Glad it helped! I had a lot of trouble in my first playthrough. I was playing co-op with my gf and she found the hidden tunnel behind the explosive barrel to get to the last switch in the end but we were close to giving up and just skip the quest.
I soft locked the game by leaving the tomb to regain rested buff and to empty my inventory and even though I had all 4 switches hit, the doors were shut. This helps a lot!
I landed on the roof and went down and couldn't get the last button. I've nearly finished the game, so the enemies were easy for me. Came across your video and went for it, so thanks for the cheese 😁
There are steel bars over the hole in the roof preventing you from jumping down onto the tomb. You have to use a pickaxe to open it up. Its a fast drop so careful :)
I didn't use the cheese, but thanks for showing me such a great base opportunity. I made a stairs down into the tomb from one of the big holes and am now in the process of cleaning the place up, ie blocking off passages that lead to enshrouded and making it my castle.
Lol, the first time I cheesed it because I just happened to be on the mountaintop and was like oh there's loot in the hole. Then I later ran by the tomb and completed it not knowing it was the place I looted earlier. lol
When you glided down at 1:43 or so, you saw the same thing I did; that flat roof is perfect for a base. The holes patched easy and that vast expands of flat rock is just waiting until I can farm enough materials. What's better than a castle on a tomb?
I couldn't find the 4th button.. So I ran up to the door and used my lumber axe to literally brute force the door and break it. Smashing the door turned my char sideways, so I guess I actually broke the doorframe.
Well phooey. Looks like they fixed this. There is no longer an opening there. Iron grate you can't get through. Even tried my pickaxe to destroy it. No luck. Oh well. Guess I have to do it the hard way. :) Thanks for the video.
It appears that the button you do first, is non existent in my game. Since the cheesing is patched, I can't do this catacomb. Unless they have moved that button somewhere else? I can't find it though. I have 3 activated. FML
@@Ketmo785 Well I did see that there is a smaller opening in the roof just left under the big one and from there it is possible to fly tot the chest ;-) BTW love your building video's, as older player (65) I enjoy the building more then the fighting ;-)
I just tried it in-game after your comment and it worked for me. Are you playing on a persistent server or singleplayer? If you are playing on a persistent server maybe it was just someone who looted it before you and it had not re-set yet.?
I have good news for you. I changed keyboard to one with cherry mx silent red switches. If you check any of my later videos you won't notice the keyboard nearly as much :)
..with the new iron gate from the new update as well.. you can pickaxe your way through that.. but the iron gate down below probably have less HP so then you might as well just pickaxe through there :)
I know. I should edit title. Rest of the guide works. By the way you can pickaxe through both the crate on top but also, and probably faster the iron bars blocking the doorway inside.

OMG, I spent hours here and could only find three "door-open-butttons." Your cheese is perfect! My trusty pickaxe took care of the roof hole cover.

For me it was the other way around. I solved it the normal way but noticed there was a hole in the roof and well...

It is very much possible to Brute force and just pickaxe the door. I learned that after making the video so that's why it is not in the guide
You can still cheese it. the hole right next to it jump in it then jump thru hole there

The door inside might still be possible to pickaxe?
Found the top of the tomb but since the update.....there is a grate over the hole. You can no longer by pass the puzzle.

If you have an okej lvl pickaxe you can brute force the door
@@Ketmo785 Yeah I have destroyed it with a mace with 28 attack power. Took me about 40 seconds or so

I just tried it, they may have fixed the bug. You cannot open the chest when you use the cheese method

they patched it. it is no longer w hole but have iron bars covering it.
