For all the people wondering what the song is, it's called Wicked World by Trevor Yuile, it hasn't been uploaded to the internet so that may explain why you guys haven't been able to find it online or on soundhound/shazam.. and yes I also just made this youtube account so that you people won't have to suffer anymore by searching for this song day and night. This scene's hella fun if you've already fallen in love with these three shockingly complicated characters. But it looks over the top cheesy if you aren't familiar with the show. KillJoys is compelling, and rather groundbreaking a show if you stuck with it and judge it only after watching at least 5 episodes.
Such a good and fun show.

The song is called "Wicked World" by Trevor Yulie. This is from his twitter feed: "Check the tune 'wicked World' coming up in @Killjoys. Had a lot of fun writing it!!" Unfortunately, it's not yet available anywhere, and the identity of the singer hasn't been revealed.
Dutch is the new generation's Xena! Such a badass! If I ever see her at a convention they HAVE to play this song as an introduction for her!

If you liked Firefly you'll like Killjoys.
I was hesitant to invest my time in another show because the networks keep yanking anything interesting. The series started a little cheesy in locale till they started providing the world building and then you understand why they have the sets that they do. Each world is a different class system built around a corporation. Throw in Dutch's secret upbringing and I was hooked. Can't wait for season 2. I don't mind shows that have low budgets as long as the story is good, I eventually can look past things like that. Each episode got better and better the deeper you got into the mystery. And this season only showed you this planet and her moons that were colonized with hints that there's more beyond it that they have to worry about. Red 17 people.
The song is called Wicked World by Trevor Yuile. He tweeted it out and many have asked if it'll ever be released. His response was vague.
If Syfy can start producing actual science - fiction & fantasy again instead of a stream of " reality " & paranormal crap, then they may restore my faith in them. All I have to go on is this trailer & the one for " Dark Matter ", but I think they're trying to win back the fan base that they started alienating after BSG & Stargate / Stargate Atlantis left the air. The Sci - Fi that I remembered from the 90's died in 2010.

Okaayyy real cool entrance...but you can't walk behind people being shot at. Bullets don't disappear when they miss their target, they keep going and guess who is walking reallllly slow straight into the line of fire.

... In this show, but that trailer looks more like someone made a cool clip to show what they can do in Adobe Aftereffects on RUclips than a full fledged show. It barely looks B-rate, a C with a slightly bigger budget? Freddie Wong makes stuff alot better than this, with a smaller budget, SyFy(lis) should hire him.

The idea of bounty hunters is ok but it should have been done maybe more like Firefly.

+fatarsemonkey They've done an exceptional job of creating a quasi-religion around bounty hunting / skip tracing / gun-for-hire work. Good writing, good acting, fantastic set design and cinematography. If they can keep it up it may take a place among iconic SF TV.

I can't watch this!!! sooooo many mistakes. She walks into a firefight unarmed? (aside from the necklace). Also two of the guards had her dead to rights and didn't fire??? Pathetic. That and the old high tech futuristic weapons while in the classic basement / factory setting, tsk tsk. Sorry I'll pass. Civilizations living the amish life and yet aren't conquered? people suffering in the cities and apparently don't move to these backwater worlds where the air is cleaner and life just a little bit better? what ev....

***** Frame 0:53 (guy directly behind her, didnt fire) to 1:00 (guy coming down the hallway watching his teamate get owned, but doesnt fire) two times the guards had her dead to rights but never shot her. It's just bad, terrible writing? And this is just in a 1 minute 29 second clip, I dont even want to bother with all the other mistakes. Not worth my time. Even Dark Matter is a much better show than this!

Jedistarship I hope you're being sarcastic. Stormtroopers had poor helmet visibility? At what point was this revealed during the movies? I can see why you'd want to come up with your own theory, but I'll counter it by saying: why would a wealthy powerful evil Empire allow their military uniforms to have such an apparent flawed defect, especially when involved in an ongoing war? They'd keep it to defend the most powerful starship in the universe? To protect Darth Vader and Emperor? Nope. The Empire would improve upon it as soon as the flaw was revealed. Except this was a fictional movie. Science fiction has flaws - literal and metaphorical.
