  • In this video I am unboxing and reviewing my first impressions of the VEVOR Power Benchtop Planer, Three-Blade, Two Speed, 13" Width Thickness Planer. This planer was sent to me by VEVOR and they asked for my honest review of this tool.

Honestly, I think that a review that is honest and unbiased like this one is more valuable than any amount of BS and brown nosing.

So I just got one of these today. Preface to say I’m just starting out in woodworking and have only had commercial thickness planing experience. I was / am stoked with mine so far. Perhaps bc I’m a noobie but I think it will fit my needs perfectly for the time being. I didn’t have issues w the dust/chip collection, but I’m not a fan of the hose being in the way it seems. I appreciate you demonstrating the pinch point, as now I’ll make sure to keep my hands clear. I enjoyed the video and also appreciate you stating your opinion and sharing it w Vevor. Differences can be beneficial and I’m sure they appreciate the feedback. Cheers, Mark

Nice review. First-tested mine last night on a cherry piece about 4 in wide with a cobbled adapter for my Harbor Freight shop vacuum with no chip problems, but it's good to know ahead of time that wider and different stock may produce different results. 👍

Let's see how long it takes them to Add these two features. Both of which are very important to me ! Thumbs Up !!

It's a toy and will break rapidly. Learnt the hard way. I had to go with DeWalt.

Sorry, hit the wrong button. Anway a shop vac is not a good metric for dust/ chip collection. Not a fair review.

For me the issue was the size of the port. If it was a 4” port I don’t think it would have gotten clogged.
