Michael Stipe, well what can I say, a pure delight to hear him opening the song and hitting that high note. Then Peter Gabriel coming roaring though, such a powerful voice. That said, the beauty of this combination and the way it was recorded show the talent of all three artists. Natalie was/is an amazing vocalist. Michael has never tried to be Peter Gabriel, he doesn't need to, he's Michael Stipe, who I also adore. Personally, I think this is about one of the most beautiful mix of artists that you'd never think of putting together. It's got some serious magic.
