"There was Jesus" by ‪@zachwilliamsofficial‬ & ‪@DollyParton‬ is a song that deeply resonates with my own journey out of addiction and homelessness and into the love of Jesus Christ. Williams said the song is about, "looking back at 20 years ago when I had no idea that God was in the moment, that He was even with me through some of the hard things that have gone on in my life. Now I can see that He had His hand in everything I was doing."
Zach's words are so true in my own life. In everything that has been, and all that is to come, I know Jesus is there with me.
It was an absolute pleasure to film with a live acoustic cover of "There Was Jesus" at the beautiful Burgess Barn Studios with my awesome friend Cat Rea. Massive thanks to STABAL for producing the video putting it all together.
