Level 1 - Colour Doppler

This is the fourth in a series of video lectures designed to walk you through the BSE's level 1 curriculum.
This lecture describes the physics that under pins the generation of colour maps that are used to demonstrate the flow of blood within the heart. Special attention is paid to the limitations of this technique, and how to minimise these limitations.
