While I can understand what you're saying, I don't agree to a point. Of course, a win against OSU will be huge. But, a loss doesn't diminish this season at all. They can come back and beat Purdue and finish 11-1. When has an IU team ever finished 11-1? This year is unprecedented. It's been like a dream. Not a single IU team in prior history has been able to do what Cignetti and doing. I'm a believer regardless of what happens in Columbus. As long a Cignetti is on board, I'm a believer that IU football will be a program that teams will now have to prepare for. You better believe that OSU and Day is preparing for IU like they've never prepared ever. This year is a lot of fun. They're going bowling regardless. To be one of the final 12 would be awesome. But, no one could have imagined that back in August. Enjoy the ride.
@ understood I was looking at their schedule. I didn’t realize they really hadn’t played a top team yet. Not their fault all I’m saying is you gotta beat the big teams to be considered good
Michigan had the exact same strength of schedule last year. CFB is big on college royalty - let’s face it, you have to have a pre-existing brand to be considered good.
Will be gone to big time college football machine. Where he will be paid a ungodly amount of money. Might succeed might not. Still will get rich even if he fails.
The 5th-ranked team ... that hasn't beat or played a single team with a winning record. What a joke of a schedule. And then they get a bye week to prep for OSU. IU would be lucky to not having a losing record if they played in the SEC.
@@johnjoseph7928 Nebraska is 2-4 in the Big 10, having beat only Purdue and Rutgers. IU has not played a single Big 10 team with a winning record in the conference. With the exception of OSU, IU's Big 10 schedule is made up of the bottom half the conference. They are much improved, but it's a joke to rank IU in the top 10, or even 20, given their schedule.
I think it’s the way they’ve beat these teams. Some of these teams have hung in there with the top half of the league in some games. Example Nebraska almost beating OSU. IU beat Nebraska 56-7
@@guyjojay Yes, I can't help but wonder how Purdue would be doing with IU's gift-wrapped schedule? Definitely not as well as IU, but as we prep for PSU, having just played @ OSU, and Oregon shortly before that, not long after we played ND, I can't help but wonder?
Solid dude ........he enjoys coaching ball and has it figured out😎😎
Incredible coach
Best football coach in college football
Let’s GO HOOSIERS!!🏈⚪️🔴🏈⚪️🔴

Me me me
Oklahoma, Florida State, USC, Florida should give this guy whatever he wants.
Indiana is doing that. He’s a Hoosier
Love the man’s confidence but usually when coaches come do interviews they get thumped
He's been doing interviews almost every week for the past 6 weeks, hasn't stopped the hoosiers!!
He’s been on McAfee twice this season - both resulted in wins.
He’s done a million interviews all season
