This is a good pattern for a man's apron. I have some BBQ themed fabric that will make a quick Father's Day gift. Thanks for sharing. Edit: I made two of these today for the husbands of my granddaughters. Made them with a lining as it was easier than hemming and I was using a quiltting weight fabric. They are both big BBQers so I think they will like them.
What a wonderful project, Christine! I love this apron-easy to make and stylish! As always, that you for the terrific ideas and for walking us through the whole project.
Another great tutorial, thank you! I have made 3 or 4 aprons, and wish I had done it your way! Thankfully, I did reinforce the ties and pockets. I made one for my grandbaby, nearly 2, as she loves to pull a chair up and 'help' Momma bake. Then I made a matching one for her baby doll. Too fun!
Thank you for this video Christine. U used to have an abundance of aprons most of them half aprons but I had quite a few ones like what you’ve just made too. I’d like to try making some of these when I get my sewing machine so I’ll have to remember this video. TFS with all of us Christine. Have a great weekend.
I use the save button and I have named file for sewing projects, craft projects and recipes and such. This not only makes it easy to find the videos of projects I want to do but also reminds of projects I want to do, lol, I tend to be forgetful these days. I have many of Christine's videos saved this way. Even the ones I have already made projects from just so I can find them easily. I may have to make a file with only her videos! I hope this helps you.
Thank you Christine for another genius project. That apron looks fab. Your video is simple and detailed for any level of sewer, looking forward to trying this. I love your variety of projects too. Can't wait to see more.
Love it. I have been asked to make shop aprons for some of the local artists on the island and these would be perfect. I may have to make some the longer length with ties around the legs but easily done. 😀
I'm back to watch this again because I had someone ask if I could make a full apron instead of just the half-size garden aprons I had made. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and process with us!
Love this apron Christine. Thank you for sharing. Would you be happy to show how to add extra pockets that are zipped, or fasten in some way, for notes and change to use when on a market stall? I could do with one of these but I’m not sure how to add the extra ones and I don’t want to get it wrong. Hoping you can help 🤔🙏🤔
Sorry for the delay in responding Teresa. I kept this in my to do list so I wouldn't forget. I've just uploaded the video showing you how I'd make the pocket. Hope it's what you're looking for 😀 ruclips.net/video/rCFpGv4ztSY/видео.html
As always, a nice, clear detailed video demonstration! Just one suggestion...If you're making it for yourself, you can skip the sliders! Unless you're still growing and might need to make the strap longer!😁Also keeps anyone else from stealing your apron!
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs HAHAHA! No worries ! Can’t even exercise!! But I can SEE out of one eye now like never before! I get the other one done in a couple weeks 😜👀👀😉🌷
Great apron! My husband cooks for us and could use a new one. Off to the shop to get some fun fabric! Thanks for your help! BTW would you like to come to a ladies retreat?😊

Thanks Pamela. I love my aprons. I'm a bit of a messy cook😁
I do the same Laura. I looked back at my saved file just the other day, and often have to look back to see how things should be done😀
Great work! You’ve reminded me of one apron I need to complete. Thank you so much for this tutorial!
Thanks Loraine. You've just reminded me of another one I haven't done yet😁
Another great video another project to add to my to do list.
Thanks Pat. At least it's a quick one😀

As always 🎉well done!!!
Thanks Yvonna😀
Love this project, as always!! Can’t wait to get back to sewing, just had a cataract removed and have to wait a few days✌️🌸❤
Take is slowly Tina. You want to care of your eyes so you can sew forever😁
