Wow, this brings back memories. This apron was the first sewing project I did in the seventh grade in 1967. This was so fun to watch. Thank you.
Hi Clothing for my Lifestyle. Glad you liked the beginners apron tutorial. My first sewing project in 7th grade (1960) was a pair of elastic waist shorts. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍

Hello. I'm just wondering, does the top of the waist band stay open, or does it also get sewing shut when pinned to the apron body? I appreciate your videos.
Hi Elizabeth. Yes the waistband gets sewn shut. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍
I’m trying to make a curtain for under my kitchen desk and have been looking everywhere for a good tutorial. (It will be attached with Velcro tape since it is an odd shape where a tension rod won’t work) This was so helpful! Thank you so much for your clear and patient instructions!!
The fabric is great!
Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Back in the long-ago-days (1960’s), this apron was the first project we did in our sewing group. It might seem difficult at first view, but just slowly take each step at a time. You’ll be finished in no time. 👍😃

Quick tip for gathering, ladies; Do a wide zig zag over a couple of strands of dental floss and then gather by pushing the fabric toward the middle evenly from both sides (obviously) The dental floss is a lot less likely to break! Hope that's helpful!
Hi Sharon. Thanks for the tip. You can also use thin crochet thread. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.
He made me laugh and I liked and I subscribed thanks to your ending lol. Great video
Cute Christmas gifts.
How cute is that vintage look print?! I've been looking for projects with precisely this kind of design , (40's-50's). Speaking of which, do you happen to know any online shops that sell actual vintage fabrics?
Can you please tell me what brand your rotary cutter is? Mine apparently is horrible cuz yours slides like butter! Thank you!

Thank you--good tutorial---hat e to ask---but can you make a full apron---you know, one with the top part as well---or tell us how to do it. Thanks!
Hi MsBflat. Here is a link to a video that will demonstrate how to draw a full apron with bib. You can make it fancy or plain. Thanks for watching and happy sewing. ruclips.net/video/wGde_csgZdw/видео.html
Suggestions: buy fabric that is not askew or off the straight grain, pull a crosswise thread and cut on that line, pull fabric on bias if needed to straighten it, wash if needed, then construct without recutting raw edges. I remember when fabric shops would nearly never cut woven fabrics. Instead, they would tear.
I tore fabric for years working at a fabric shop. Now I have arthritis in both thumbs. Just sayin’. I complain, but sewing is still a joy.
Gostei!👍
Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Love the fabric 😂🤣🦃.
How long is the total waistband.
Hi Barbara. The length can be custom to your waist size. Make it long enough to go around your waist with maybe 20" on each end to be used to tie a bow. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
The only thing I would add would add would be a clear list of each piece or pair of pieces, their names, and their dimensions.
Hi Gesse. Thanks for the suggestion. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
❤❤❤🇵🇭
Hi Flor. Glad you liked the apron with pockets tutorial. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
"5/8th of a yard" sounds like gibberish when you live in a country that uses the metric system haha
And a lot of people don't cope with fractions!
I think it's about half a metre, 50 cm
Google it .
@@quiltfreak64wow what a helpful comment. I down clicked your comment 😘
