Today's episode got me to really think deeper on all my relationships past and present ( now a girl is single) on just how I never really got to give self care much importance and in some relationships I lost myself and now I have to start relearning alot of things to make sure that am just as good enough and not to always neglect myself.
Back then I used to show myself love with food like so much junk food 😂.. but this year I'm rewarding myself with positive affirmations, healthy eating and buying myself things even with no financial stability I always buy things and trust God for the future ❤
Watching this episode live and direct from Copenhagen; Denmark! 😁 I do believe in speaking things into existence with faith so best believe Joyride campus tour to the world!
While talking about having a positive relationship with failure, we also need to redefine what failure is. Because 8-4-4 really made us believe not being number 1-3 is failure. So also interrogating that and realizing that the success/failure metric isn’t dependent on others’ success/failure. Its a deeply personal thing.
Gosh every time I'm watching a Joyride episode, I'm more convinced that I need therapy because the introspection and digging deep that is this specific one, wueh!! 🙆🏽♀️🙌🏽
Love this episode...it questioned me in alot of ways... Just like shiro said I've practiced affirmations more..and sometimes I do them in My head 😅😅funny but works
Every inconvenience I encounter, im buying me some icecream 😅😅nikikosewa or I get stressed na kitu I wanna treat myself to feel better...I don't really know if that's the right way 😅😅
Watching with my buddies from the USA you guys are doing great every episode is an epitome of wisdom, I love how everything you tackle is so relatable in every way...Ben is just hilarious 😂😂 love his music too 👌
By the way it’s true. Joyride is like therapy for me. When I am low, I just put an episode of joyride and by the time I am done, am good to go. Keep it up guys. Edutainment kabisa
Yeah it definitely is especially in the long run when you look back at your faithful deliberate walk with God you realize how important it was in helping to shape you more in to who God has called you to be. And as always God wants you to be at your best and experience life in all its fullness. Loving God is also choosing to believe the things he says about you (2nd Timothy 1:7 where he reminds us that he’s not given us a spirit of fear but a spirit of love, power and a sound mind) and the positive words he constantly reminds us from the bible. Like in Joshua 1:9 where he calls us to be courageous and reminds us that he’s always with us regardless of the situation we’re going through. When we choose to believe these words he says about us and meditate on them instead of meditating on negative thoughts and what could go wrong, over time we start to see ourselves from a place of love and worth which is part of authentic self love. Hope this helps 😊
"I'm giving myself grace to grow at the pace that life gives me." - if this isn't a word and a half!

Currently going through a heartbreak. And I just realized that in all my past relationships I focused on making my partner happy not my happiness

Self love for me right now is forgiving myself and extending much grace and pleasant words to myself
