I think he wasn't giving them very juicy answers so they went for more difficult questions to make the video interesting

You need to see the mean-spirited questions and pressing for different answers in the Maddie Ziegler's one. It was like the interviewer had a personal grudge for no reason. Just 10 mins of weirdness.
This video demonstrates perfectly why polygraph tests are total are not admissible in court. They make absolutely no sense and are so easy to manipulate.
