Hi Kev nice update on the layout, some exciting plans going forward. That's a nice kit and you've done a great job on the painting. Some nice new stock mate. Cheers Andy
Hi Kev. Lot of progress there buddy. I have a lot of Metcalf buildings, although can't get the humidity down past 70% in the winter, not had any problems with them. So you're Metcalf should be fine. Doing a re vamp on mine at the moment so like yourself thinking cap getting a lot of use.🤔 I am vlogging it. Great layout Kev. Looking forward to the progress. Just videoed the March exhibition you might enjoy. The very last exhibit was from a 13 year old lad who built it in his bedroom, it's amazing from someone that age. Thanks for sharing Kev. Hi Kev. Nice update. You've been busy ripping stuff out, look forward to the new stuff going in. That new building is so detailed, I didn't think I'd have the patience for it. Lol. Your so right about finding the bargains. I just got Union of South Africa A4, limited edition, DCC ready for under £100 on Facebook marketplace. It's in excellent condition and I'm now hunting for other Great Gathering locos at good prices. Cheers, John.
Hi John Thanks as always for watching . Now the old stuff is out I have no option to put new stuff in 😀😀 The building although highly detailed is really easy to build and I’ve enjoyed the build but still another 2 sections to go . I think hunting out bargains is the way forward and good luck finding the one you want . Cheers Kev
Hiya Kev Your looking well my friend. You have a big task ahead with all the new plans. Building looks great that you made. Yup the 56 was a bargin and compared to cavalex much easier on the pocket. I gave you a mention in my last video a thankyou for introducing me to Rob . Liked that class 20 in underground livery there hard to get hold of now. Anyways thanks for sharing. Look after yourself my friend Atb Mark 😊
Hi Mark Yes I have a rather big job on my hands 😀 I’m a little behind on RUclips videos so I’ve put your last 2 in my watch later so I don’t forget 😅 Hope you are well and as always thanks for your support . 👍🏾 Cheers Kev
Hi Kev, excellent update mate, you’re very much like myself with the layout in a state of upheaval, but it looks like you have some excellent plans and I have to say you have done a fantastic job with the JS Models kit, the brick work looks excellent, well done, mate! Now I do like a class 33 and a class 37 they look lovely models that you’ve got yourself they’ll be more 33’s and when I get round to it 37’s at Exehaven. The sound of the 33 sounds fine Kev to my untrained ear and as you say with that Hornby system you can change it when a 33 sound comes available. Those coaches looked great, I always think that’s another expensive part of the hobby, new N Gauge coaches come in between £40 and £50 each, so those two that you have seemed good value especially with weathering and passengers! This thing about the hobby is dying sounds silly to me, crikey Kev remember how packed GETS was, you couldn’t move in there, same when I attended my local show. I think it might be evolving especially with new technology and the like but I think lots of people are attracted to it in lot’s of different ways and I think it will always be a massive hobby. I think this all stemmed from and article in the papers and on television news around the week Hattons shut and the Warley show was cancelled and of course lots of people cottoned onto it! Would you let me know the dates for your model railway club show Kev as i’d really like to come over if I can. Cheers mate, John
Thanks as always for your support . I am pleased how the building came out . A couple of times I was not sure how the paint was going but came out alright in the end . Our show is 20th & 21st July , we have a good amount of layouts and traders lined up so it should be good. Cheers Kev
