Rugby league is a fast game. If any player caught trying to slow the play holding down a player trying to get up and play the ball is penalised. There is no play stop play stop unless a serious injury then the referee signal stop and the clock stops as well. It’s a very fast physical sport.
Each team gets 4 substitute players, usually it's the big dudes that get a break unless there's an injury of course. Running the substitute bench is a very difficult and important part of the game. Once your allowed number of substitutes are used the players on the field have to finish the game, if you then get an injury where the player has to leave the field, you play with one less. It's a fast paced, hard hitting collision sport. High adrenaline and fans are very passionate. Go the mighty EELS 💙💛💙

Rugby League, plays for 2 x 40 minute halves with a 10 minute halftime break. The only time it goes over 80 minutes is if the score is tied at the end. I watched the Super Bowl for the first time this year and found out that it might only be a 60 minute game, but it actually takes 3 hours to play because they have a break every three minutes. There’s no way those guys could play in a rugby league match. They’d be gassed! It’s a pity you missed the games, but there are highlights and full replays available to watch if you’re interested.

Each team has two or three players who do the kicking, the #6 and #7 and even the #9. With the chip and chase, anyone is allowed to regain the ball and not just the one who kicked it. Got 41k @ Vegas for the Australian NRL rugby league game's. There's no stoppages in a NRL game apart from half time which is only around 15- 20 minutes. Please react to more NRL content because it's been taking over on a lot of American reactions channels the past couple of months. I guarantee it'll bring a huge number of views once word gets out & I guarantee you ll love the content. Dar reacts & many other's have fallen in love with the game.
Depending on the severity of the injury, you may just get patched up and then back onto the field. One player there did not go back on to the field after his injury.

I enjoy Union better.... it's the original and authentic form of rugby. I understand they wanted it to evolve but those who enjoy league more than union speak down on union. Union has gotten more "soft" as they would say .. and to some degree that's true..but still I love it . .the implemented rules will are good for the players' longevity to actively compete.

there is one player with the North Queensland Cowboys who can kick it from 50 meter line, his name is Kyle Fieldt.
