yo i am really struggling with english getting around 600 and i have my sat on 5th october it would be really helpful if you could make a video or pdf/notes on how to tackle every question love ur work
Thank you. I just started the channel, but I will be working to eventually cover all question types. For now, my predictions videos will have a nice mix of questions, and if you have any interest in tutoring with me, you can use this link: calendly.com/testprepdad
Personally, I like reading the last sentence, since it provides a lens to approach the question. However, after that I do like to read the passage from beginning to end normally because it helps with rhythm and flow. Reading it backwards feels chunky for me and the ideas/information of a passage flow better chronologically.
Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. I’m definitely scoring every question right under the inference! Can you please make a video for graph questions too? My test is in less than 5 days😭
It sounds like you might need some more basic practice looking for main ideas? In the meantime, I would skip these types of questions and save them for last so you can get points on the questions you're more comfortable with.
I don’t offer trial classes because they tend to devalue the expertise and effort I put into long-term tutoring. Instead, I recommend checking out more of my RUclips videos for a preview of my teaching style.
The medium practice question is wrong I think, you said that the depictions of food are not to be taken as realistic representations but it doesn't say that in the answer choice. I think the correct answer is D
The answer is indeed C as explained in the video. The question stem mentions “cast doubt on,” so to cast doubt on the idea that the depictions are realistic is to believe the depictions are not realistic. Does that make sense?
@@TestPrepDad yes but it says that "THEY SHOULD" be taken as realistic representations, choice C agrees with the intial claim in sentence 1 and does not agree with sentence 2. I am almost certain it is choice D.
Again, the question stem “casts doubt on” negates this. I misspoke when I said “should not,” but I can assure you it is C. Feel free to check College Board’s answer key.
@@its.Ishanth All these questions are from the question bank. I don't use questions from the exams because I don't want to accidentally spoil them for students working through them.
