He is truly the greatest child actor of all time. He continues blowing people away in every film- not just viewers but his colleagues, the cast, the directors. He always exceeds expectations and knows his abilities. The emotions he can express while knowing when to call upon them, I just can't describe it. He affects me emotionally in ways I've never felt, watching his performances. He's revolutionary- he rewrote the book for film acting. We haven't seen this before. His eyes, with their swell of emotional conveyance, could power a solar system. His power lies not just in the fact that he's a cute kid, though scenes where he's in pain are amplified by this. It's his ability to connect with the audience and play on their emotions which is on a level that few of any age have attained.
I think he should've got an oscar not her. Her performance as the mother was good. His performance was amazing. He was on screen almost the whole time and his range of expression was wide ranging. And I thought he was much more authentic than Leonardo Di Caprio who simply did a lot of huffing and puffing and rolling about in a beard.
Jack is referred to as HE lots of times, including at the start of this video. Boys can have long hair and in the book, Jack's hair is long enough to sit on but was shorter in the film for practical reasons
+Mairi Mitchell well- she is saying how good she had to be to do the extra work of managing him and making him feel comfortable. Like when she says she had to be able to come in and out of character. In this interview she is talking about herself, not Jocob. In others, yes, she often mentioned how good he is.

Loved the movie. I find Brie a bit annoying in interviews... Here she is stealing Jacob's thunder a bit. But the movie (and Brie in it) is amazing.
