I remember the first time I saw this movie in theaters for the first time and I had not been so deeply impressed by a kid’s acting since Hailey Joel Osment in The Sixth Sense. Jacob Tremblay is a child actor prodigy.

He deserved an Oscar nomination for Room. He was phenomenal.
He should have won Best Actor alongside Brie Larson winning Best Actress. They would have been so joyful together. Already as it was with just her winning, they had a blast. It's very heartwarming. Room is an amazing film and it introduced us to the greatest child actor we've ever seen, so congratulations to Jacob. Here's to many more successes and joys in life!

Jacob Tremblay is possibly the cutest kid I've ever seen. And he is so bright and has such a winsome personality. I fervently hope he stays grounded as he grows up, and doesn't get into trouble like so many child actors have done. I just love him.
It's hard to not love this kid. Not only is he adorable but hes funny, he can be both cute and funny when hes not even trying to be. Hes also a good actor and hes only 12, hes definitely becoming one of my favorite child actors hes really good in the movies hes been in especially Wonder he made me cry watching that movie

notice jakes face when she asks him about being in the next SW film. Looks like he may have been told not to say anything but being that he is working with the director on of that film. I suspect he may make a credited or uncredited cameo in SW, either as a human or maybe some sort of humanoid. Just a gut feeling based in his facial expression.

A lot of it depends on the Parents. If they can teach him the right things when he is a kid then he will be fine.

+Freddie Grace given that he seems to come from a good working class family, what with his dad being a police detective, I think the kid will be fine, he's acting because he really wants to do it, he said it himself that he wanted to keep doing acting roles so it bodes well that he seems to have a good head on his shoulders already - the issue with child actors in Hollywood is the crazy ones often end up coming from either poor families or acting families so you get the drama of not having any stability or normality - but many child actors who come from average working class family backgrounds, they do just fine and have a stable career, notably, look at the Fanning sisters, Dakota and Elle, they come from an average working class family in Georgia and they both had fame but are doing perfectly fine. Elle is doing well in movies and Dakota is in college and focusing on her education. that stability and normality is so important
@@CaptainPikeachu Well said. 4+ years after your comment he's doing better than ever as a newly-minted teenager. :) He'll be Flounder in the Little Mermaid. They're struggling to finish recording his lines before puberty affects his voice, thanks to that stupid coronavirus. I think they'll get the job done just fine.
