  • SpaceX is testing Ship 29 and Booster 11 on the Orbital Launch Mount. Based on the absense of regulatory documents, it is assumed that this will be a partial tanking test, ahead of a Wet Dress Rehearsal, a few days later.

Good team. Expert commentary by Ryan and Adrian. Ryan's aerospace experience is invaluable and great dialog. Adrian's podcast experience provides many data points. It's great hearing from two writers.
Good direction and hosting by Ryan Caton. Thank you for the livestream coverage.

You are so very right! The commentary was kind of calm and quiet which fit the test itself. They did a great job answering new questions with careful thought and discussion! I learned a lot and enjoyed the experience!

Partial tanking test is a perfectly descriptive name!

Honestly this felt like SpaceX's way to do a WDR in all but name while skirting the prop loading limits to avoid some paperwork. Probably/hopefully means they will be more confident that full WDR and subsequent launch will go smoothly and that both will happen soon and in quick succession. Fingers crossed.

9 metres is only 1 metre short of the width of your local swimming pool. If you put starship in a spin - You could literally have a swimming pool on your journey to Mars. 😮

It’s not like a static fire. It’s a partial fueling test, so we’ll probably just see the vehicles getting frosty then unfrosty, no real “action” timestamp

Don’t know if they can get tile work done before then. Especially if they lose more tiles during full pressure WDR. Also don’t have FAA approval yet. It would be super cool if it was that soon though.
