My husband and I were so close to ending our marriage. He had already filed for divorce and when I got the papers I was devastated! Just 1 week ago I was at crossroads and was down and out and was going to divorce my wife....until my daughter brought me a book on tape by Gary Chapman called The 5 love languages. My parents never fought and I thought that marriage was effortless, 27 years later I was going to walk. After I listened to the book my daughter told me about this song. I am blessed to have a restored marriage, a forgiving wife and God still in my life. I cheated on my wife, walked away from God and was listening to the un-Godly, doing what I wanted to do for ME. God does restore. Been with the father of my daughters for 16 years. We had a very bad separation. But what we found out was that everyday we we were apart we prayed for God to help our family and reunite. And God has made our family and love strong. I had gone into my neighbour's house because she used to ask me to check her children were up for school, as she would have already left for work. This song was playing on Christian radio at 7 a.m. in her house. The next day, this song was playing again at the same time in her house. She isn't born again and I've never known her to play Christian radio before those two days, or since. I could not believe it. I remember it like yesterday...On my ex-wife's and my 10-year anniversary I felt like we'd hit rock bottom. 2 Kids, a house, 3 dogs, nice cars, good jobs, we had it all, except the love that we had when we met...That night I went grocery shopping, my ex-wife stayed home with our kids and I asked my sister if she'd like to tag-along. I told her that I felt like my marriage was slipping away, she played me this song. I went home, unloaded the groceries and sat my ex-wife down in front of the computer and played her this song...I told her everything was going to be OK, and she revealed to me that she had been cheating on me...I try to listen to this song every opportunity I can, because, while it brings back painful memories of what was, it gives me hope that with God's help my new marriage with my beautiful wife has meaning and a purpose. That the vows we made aren't empty and that there's hope for all of us married couples. Once we learned to put him first, our marriage was healed. We found a church, read our scriptures and prey together. Each meal is giving in thanks. I came home; things are slowly changing in a good way. He sold his gaming console, gave away his gaming computer, going to psychiatry for serious help, going bad to school, getting rid of bad influence/friends, standing up for me in front of his parents, etc. I also quitted my job, which will soon put us into financially difficulty when the new baby arrives. I will pray for your whole family. This is very difficult for everyone. I sit here and cry because it's all true. When I went through my divorce it was nasty and it was not my decision. It's 9 years later and I have always told my children I didn't hate their dad I just disapproved of what he was doing to all of us. He continues with his behaviors. I know in the end that God will be here for us through all the suffering we've been through. I can't wait for that day to come.
Ephesians 5:24-28... That verse changed my outlook on what I was doing in my marriage because of how broken I was from my life before my wife. Now, I am fighting the enemy to pick up the pieces and praying God will keep His promise of forever following a repentant heart. It not only affects that couple, but everyone who loves them. Healing is a process, just know that God will never leave you nor forsake you. Every couple I know has been getting divorced. My grandparents after 50 years, my parents after 30 years, and now my wife asked me for a divorce after almost 13 years together. And many many more friends & family. It's a true epidemic. But I've been putting my faith in God that He can restore our relationship. I desparately need god to restore my marriage. I cheated on my husband and i broke and hurt him more then i thought i could. Idk if he wants to restore it. His emotions are up and down. Im trying to turn my life over to jesus but its so hard with out my husband beside me. I want god to restore us and heal his broken heart. Please god take my family into your arms and heal my broken home.

This is the song I have been needing to hear for a long time. My spouse is 44 and I am 28. We have been married for 8 years and it started to rocky in the beginning. We struggled a lot but still managed to stay together. Until that unfaithful day on December 7, 2007. That day was when everything changed between us. We finally said to ourself we need help. 8 weeks ago we started counseling through a Christian Clinic. We sought out to god for help. I love this song.

I am blessed to have a restored marriage, a forgiving wife and God still in my life. I cheated on my wife, walked away from God and was listening to the un-Godly, doing what I wanted to do for ME. 10 years ago i was soo broken, troubled marriage throughout the first 12 years when unexpectedly many dark secrets surfaced. I wanted soo bad to fight for her and I remember every time I would hear this song on the radio. I was hopeful but deep down really didn’t think we would survive the hardships. My love for my wife was soo strong but my pride almost prevailed against us. God does restore. Been with the father of my daughters for 16 years. We had a very bad separation. You've no idea of the impact this song had when I first heard it. I had gone into my neighbour's house because she used to ask me to check her children were up for school, as she would have already left for work. This song was playing on Christian radio at 7 a.m. in her house. The next day, this song was playing again at the same time in her house. She isn't born again and I've never known her to play Christian radio before those two days, or since. I could not believe it.

This song is beautiful. My husband and I went through so many bad years together. Our marriage was a horrible mess. Only because we did not put Jesus first in our lives. Once we learned to put him first, our marriage was healed. We found a church, read our scriptures and prey together. Each meal is giving in thanks. I came home; things are slowly changing in a good way. He sold his gaming console, gave away his gaming computer, going to psychiatry for serious help, going bad to school, getting rid of bad influence/friends, standing up for me in front of his parents, etc. I also quitted my job, which will soon put us into financially difficulty when the new baby arrives. I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, still learning to trust on God, in His healing and restoring power.

I will pray for your whole family. This is very difficult for everyone. I sit here and cry because it's all true. When I went through my divorce it was nasty and it was not my decision. It's 9 years later and I have always told my children I didn't hate their dad I just disapproved of what he was doing to all of us. He continues with his behaviors. I know in the end that God will be here for us through all the suffering we've been through. I can't wait for that day to come.
Ephesians 5:24-28... That verse changed my outlook on what I was doing in my marriage because of how broken I was from my life before my wife. My wife and I fell in love fast and got married fairly quickly. After a good honeymoon period our relationship slowly started to deteriorate due to not communicating in each others language. Unfortunately this led to several very deep hurts being done on both sides. We were SO close to just walking away, I had moved out and it just didn't seem like there was a chance. We went to a Christian marriage counselor and have been slowly putting the pieces back together with God's help. He Restores!!

I know this song is directed for relationships but it still had spoken to me. I've been married two years today. This past year was SO hard. I felt the enemy come into our marriage and take my husband down a road I never thought he would go. God DOES restore. My husband announced 6 weeks ago that he is leaving. He is still at home and last night I was feeling discouraged and when I came in my room this song was playing on the tv. That is of the Lord. He will restore my marriage!

Heard this song for the 1st time today and I found it to be amazing, beautiful, and powerful! I thank God that my marriage is healthy right now but about 2 years ago we needed this song. Of course God uses things like this to bring the focus back for marriages and it's amazing to see His power at work. For my wife and I the movie Fireproof was what started the healing we needed, and it was reinforced by the movie Courageous. God bless you Chris August for this song!

We all have to remember to show "Unconditional Love" to our spouse. I was reminded of that today with my wife. I'm praying for all marriages but don't give up on your husband. I was once a husband that needed a lot of work and God got a hold of me during this marriage valley and now I will always be a work in progress but I'll be a better husband than I could have been because God is first in my life.

God used this song to minister to me last night after a very tough day. I had never heard it before then last night driving home after bible study this song came on. I cried, and cried but it was so therapeutic. It was just what I needed in that moment. This song is heaven sent, and I'm sure it has and will continue to bless people! This is the song I have been needing to hear for a long time. My spouse is 44 and I am 28. We have been married for 8 years and it started to rocky in the beginning. We struggled a lot but still managed to stay together. Until that unfaithful day on December 7, 2007. That day was when everything changed between us. We finally said to ourself we need help. 8 weeks ago we started counseling through a Christian Clinic. We sought out to god for help. I love this song.
