- Mariano and I met on January of 2020 and didn't go on a date to the movie theater until 2 years later. We live in San Pedro and there isn't a theater there, plus they were closed for a while. But we finally made it! I didn't understand a thing because it was in Spanish but it was fun. They do offer a lot of movies in English is Santo Domingo, but the movie we saw was only in Spanish without subtitles... maybe we will go again one day 😂

I also am married to a Haitian living in Dominican Republic. We are 9 months waiting on our CR1 visa to be approved. We also go to the movies often for our date nights. We hope your visa is approved soon! We were finally able to submit the petition for a visa yesterday so our waiting has just begun. But that's so sweet ♥️ we would go to the movies more often too if we had a cinema in San Pedro 😅

It's in Santo Domingo in the Sambil mall. We take a bus there and then get a taxi to the mall. There is also another one in La Romana which is closer. But welcome to San Pedro!
