Sábado à noite com chuva e "lockdown". Vejo esta chamada para esse vídeo do Bowie (Absolute Beginners). E termino a noite com lágrimas nos olhos e sorriso largo no rosto!!! Que OBRA DE ARTE!!! Já vi e ouvi por várias e várias vezes desde ontem (27/02/2021) e cada vez, uma emoção nova. Bowie com sua voz e estilo, Gail Ann Dorsey no baixo (maravilhosa!!!) e com essa parceria de vida com Bowie! Prova de que amizade é algo essencial à vida. Guitarras, bateria, segunda voz, teclados...Tudo em uma sintonia e harmonia divinal!!! E a música e letra? David Bowie faz MUITA falta em um mundo em que a qualidade musical não nos tem encantado! Parabéns, Sérgio Batisteli por postar o vídeo. Que tenhamos na vida, a alegria divinal e o entusiasmo de sermos sempre "Absolute Beginners". :-)
Sensacional essa OBRA DE ARTE, que cantor foi esse Bowie.

Thank God for the gift of Sound and Vision -- no modern artist has done more for that duo than BOWIE. This is my favorite rendition of Absolute Beginners, bar none. Thank God for the BBC --the gift of audio and video recording, and the good sense to know how to use it. I and my children and theirs can marvel over this man as we do Bach and other masters.
I couldn't agree with you more. The first time I heard this song is when the movie came out in the 1980's. It's was was special then, but through time, technology and RUclips, I found this version and repeated it many times. This song is my personal Bowie favorite out of the many great ones he had done. RIP DB. 🙏

I'm from the US East Coast. Have to say wasn't a big fan of AB at the time, but now SO appreciate every element of this masterpiece to stand the test of time. And kudos to his band! Their virtuosity to even show up next to the genius.
