Except that dumbasses in the comments ruin the ending for those of us watching later!
Great show. Was nice to see Blake Alexander get his first funny car win.
Goddammit! Thanks for spoiling the ending! Now I have no reason to watch!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL NHRA DRIVERS AND TEAMS.
I tried to see old man Dunn but couldn't get my old eyes to find him. I've attended drag events since 1967 and have been a fan of Big Jim the whole time. Great job Blake !!!
Same here, I've been going to the drags since 67.
I use to go to the Irwindale raceway. It seemed like they had races every other weekend.
My parents owned a bar, called the Irwindale Inn just a couple doors down from the track. And all the drivers use to go in there after the races.
When you mentioned Big Jim. I thought you were talking about Big Jim Leavermen who use to drive the funny car Jungle Jim.
He was one of the Big Boys back then. Then it dawned on me you were talking about Dunn.
I've been to close to a hundred drag races.
I use to live in La Verne CA. For years. And I was like 5 or 6 miles from Pomona CA.
Where the NHRA had the first and last race of the year.
The Pomona track is strange. It's actually in the parking lot of the LA County Fairgrounds. Which is a huge place.
I've been to the Vegas track a few times also.
Theres nothing better than Drag Racing.
That's real racing.
Alway's cool to see Big Jim Dunn at the strip, one of the truly great Legend's of the sport!! 💪😎👍
@@assog5737Wow, if I had owned a bar we would practically be twin's! 😂
Pop took me to my first drag race when I was 8 day's old! He was a bracket racer in his 59 Pontiac StarChief 389 Tri-Power 😏
I grew up at the Racetrack's of So-Cal & spent a ton of weekend's at Irwindale, even more time across the street from the dragstrip at the old Azusa go-kart track where I raced Competition Kart's until the track closed down in 1980, I actually won the last race ever held there! Oh man, those were the day's of the really big drag meets, The US Drag Racing Grand Prix at Irwindale with 64 Top Fuel car's, Dragsters & Funny Car's both had 64 car field's & Pro-Stock car's had 32 car's! The Manufacturer's meet at Orange County International with 32 Funny Car's all lined up down the strip, what a beautiful sight they were 😍 In 74 I actually bought a Don "The SNAKE" Prudhomme T-shirt from Don himself out of the back of his hauler in the pits after the race! 😁 Damn I miss those days, Fox hunt anyone?? 😂👍
@@assog5737 I spent a lot of time at Irwindale, OCIR and Lions. I only went to Pomona one time, to the 1971 Winternationals. I am 73 now and Irwindale was always my favorite. I loved the pits there. The night Funny Car races were better than anything you can see nowadays. I always showed up for the Grand Prix of Drag Racing because everyone was there, from all across the USA.

You did a great job.
great job filming from the stands even!
Great video. Glad to see Blake win with Big Jim. Always pulled for Mike Dunn in that Snicker car back in the day.
I was happy for them!
He won with Jim Head not Dunn

Good job love you From Dino Mares Fontana CA
Another outstanding video my friend & Thank you for it!
If i could make one suggestion, maybe say or put on the screen who's racing who, or sit closer to a PA speaker so Alan Reinhardt can tell your viewers who is in what lane. Thanks again Hoss, Loved it!
Btw Capps, you ain't gonna beat JR Todd very often with no .081 light, not when JR is welding yo ass with a .036 RT!!! 🤨 No wonder Snake used to get so pissed at you! 😆
Hi,i'm watching from England..filming is great, but i cannot hear the commentary, and cannot hear who the drivers are,you guys may know because of the sponsors..cant they put a caption up some where to tell us who's racing ?

Yep!
Ah the American flag, just to let you know if by some miracle you didn't already, what with the 10000hp V8 drag cars with comically large superchargers, that you're in the land of the free
Какая мощность у этих машин?
