I remember seeing deeds of flesh for the first time in my hometown in a shit hole bar called Cody‘s. Didn’t know who they were, It was right when trading pieces came out. I was floored the most brutal shit I have ever seen live till this day. Extremely brutal and sharp as a razor. I Will never forget that night. 🔥
The same thing happened to me when they played in Madrid, Spain, as the guest band from repulse records. It was absolutely stunning.
I saw them open for hate eternal and cannibal corpse in early 2000s...so brutal and you could tell this band had their shit together

I remember playing with and meeting these guys when I was still a teenager way back in '97 w/ Dying Fetus & Devourment in FT Worth @ a shitty bar called The Dirty Perch. I never knew how much those bands would eventually change the death metal scene and enter it into a whole new level of brutality for decades to come... RIP Eric!!!!

Deeds of Flesh was the first international death metal band that played in my city, Curitiba/Brazil. It was in 1998 and the concert was fucking brutal!!!! 🤘🏻😈🤘🏻

Hell yeah! I've been waiting years for this album! Been checking their FB page every couple of weeks for the last 5 years. DoF is one of my favorite death metal bands since the nineties.

@@Jeffmetal42 Jacoby is the co founder of Deeds and Unique Leader Records. He's an OG member and he's back! He co wrote 8 of the albums along side Erik. It's not far fetched. Plus the new guys are fkn rippers. If anyone can pull it off, it's them.

Is Jacoby the lead vocalist on the album? For me I always keep a special place for the early Deeds, I´m not a huge fan of super tech death but this sounds monstrous. Take my money!

Jacoby did come back and do a majority of the vocals, but I did hear they had some dudes from other bands help out as well. Such a bummer been one of my favorite bands since the mid 90s. I hope they decide to keep going.

Because, that is what this seems to be, from a logical point of view, judging by the few facts that are available currently. D.o.F. is one of the few tech death bands that I have enjoyed, and for years. Stoked.
