This is my absolute favorite song on the album. Complete perfection. Jari absolutely understands how to capture raw emotion and put it into a song. The first chorus where he starts off with such a gritty and lower tone gives me goosebumps, and the solo is so beautiful.

After listening to the album a bunch of times since release, this one is still my favourite, great stuff.
My favorite track from this album! It has everything Wintersun does best-fantastic melodic guitar riffs and solos, without unnecessary shredding on the scales for the sake of it. The way the melody builds into a crescendo, transitioning from clean vocals to growls, adds such raw emotion-it gives me chills. The length feels perfect too, no wasted moments. Incredible work and vocals Jari, can’t wait for more! 🤘
We listened The Way of The Fire and Storm many years ago and we heard about Silver Leaves, of how beautiful the song was and that could bring tears to our eyes, but One With The Shadows remained a complete mystery through all these years. Turns out it's one of the best Wintersun songs of all. And ~the oldest one~ of Time 2
I fell in love with this song first TIME I was able to listen to it the 29th of August 2024. The full guitar solo before the clear vocals goes so deep into my heart ❤

Thank you for creating this song and amazing album, I cried a lot with this song, I've been dealing with depression for so many years, Last month I lost my job and my grandmother I thought life was over for me but you gave me a new way of seeing life, I no longer have blind eyes, I don't know if it's too much to say that you saved my life, but you really helped me. This is the album of my life.

This is my favorite from the album. All of them are master piece. But this one resonate more for me because of the lyrics. Sorrow and melancholy to remember the lost ones.
3:56 Hitting the spots that have never taken a hit. When this album came out, i was fighting against pneumonia, so high fever and all kinds of aches. And so... i got to this song, this point... Goddamn. If u are looking for a proper chills, thats the recipe. Thought i was doomed to be bald for the rest of my life.

I have grown to love this album and especially this song. I think this might be the best on the album for me right now. It's debut album worthy. It's on repeat for me right now. Love you Jari and Wintersun❤ and I have to say I do also miss the shorter type wintersun tracks like this one even if I love the longer ones.

I've now had some time to listen and think and this is my Nr.1 and Storm is my Nr.2 from the new album 🙏 Completely mesmerizing, fantastically lovely and hard at the same time...when people see distorted vocals, instruments and hard/fast drums as aweful noice..then it's because they don't let them self to feel. They've already decided in their minds what metal is or should be..

Reminds me so much of the debut album. In both music and lyrics. So good (and even if I absolutely adore Time I and II, I hope something more akin to debut is coming at some point)
I feel like this song and The Way Of The Fire bridges the debut album and the Time album.
One of the best songs I've ever heard, but it's still inferior to "The Way Of The Fire" and "Storm". This album is truly phenomenal.
