OMG This is beautiful. In high school I had a 93 T-Bird. I would love to do this.
We NEED HIGHWAY PULLS!!!
Acceleration videos!!!!
MN12s have always been some of my favorite cars and this is pretty much perfect
I’m amazed you got all that to fit
Not sure why the engine bay is huge
Sweet nice ride!! Always wanted a Tbird from this generation!! 96 I was 21yrs old when this came off the line..
I absolutely love the build! If you ever find yourself on a drunken, coked up binge, needing cash for your new meth addiction and you need to unload that dime piece in a hurry, please let me know! I'm within a few hours of Wisco.
I had a couple of SC's back in the day. At that time I always dreamed of super charging the infamous Cobra-R and then tweaking the t-bird emblem to be the snake w/wings. You sir have nailed the ideal MN12 build. Please tell me you've at least done a couple HPDE days to enjoy your glorious creation?
That is an awesome build! My first car was an 86 t-bird then I got a 94. loved those cars!
Beautiful car man, love the t-bird
Lincoln seats in the back never thought of that I can see my self at the junk yard tomorrow pulling apart a land yacht
Had a 89 SC and a 94 tbird. Cool swap.
One of the best Ideas I have seen.
t bird coupe with IRS still looks good
Badass! Coming from Atrains you know it’s awesome
Atrain from TCCOA back in the day? You still have your Allen SC Tbird?
@@Oxman_Garage Yes sir, that’s me. As for the T-Bird, I sold the car in 2005. It went to a good owner in Delaware. I got to see it again in 2007 but I have since lost communication with the owner. I know he Dyno tuned it in 2006 after purchase and it made 327 RWHP and 392 RWTQ so it was right on par for my numbers. Those were good times. I miss that car.

One of the three videos I took of the car when I still had it. Wish I took more videos but hindsight is always 20/20
I don’t know why but I wanna own a Thunderbird now
Sweet ride (and as the former owner of a '11 5.0 Brembo, I appreciate those wheels; they really look good here...)!
Thanks, they fit the car perfectly. I had some fitment issues though. Had to narrow the front wheels for clearance.
Love the Lincoln mark viii rear seats👌🤣
Haha it was temporary. I have the rear seats deleted now
Do you have a build write up? I’m curious as to everything you had to do for this!
Search for Coyote Swap Thunderbird TCCOA on Google, should pop up.
@@Oxman_Garage I literally read up on this swap the other day. Love your car man. Perfect build.
Did you find build? I searched it and so much stuff came up, I cant find it. Do you know exact page? Ty
Is there anybody that would do this coyote swap for my 95 bird?
Ayy I have the same color. My bumper be peeling a bit. It's on the list of things to fix ofc.
What size rims, i like 19s maybe 18s max. Love the car though.
Thanks, 19's
So sweet. Thanks for posting.
That junt clean I’m working on my 94 as we speak
Hey I have a 96 t bird I’ve been looking for the clean turn signal head lights for the longest time where did you buy those from ?
I bought those on ebay years ago. Every once and a while you'll see them on ebay.
Done beautifully 😍
Nice 96 Thunderzord
Had a 96 in Alpine Green. Best color. Almost a cobra mystic.
I like my 96 pacific green.. it's aged well
How did you get the instrument panel done. I have a 95 Thunderbird and I've been wanting to upgrade the instrument panel but I do not pacifically know how to build one
I made the gauge panel from scratch. Just a piece of aluminum and cut out to match the dash bezel
Love that body style!!! Those things are shaped like a bullet !!!! How hard was the swap? Plenty of room?? Or had to modify???
Thank you! Swap wasn't too hard to accomplish. K member clearance, exhaust manifolds with steering shaft and custom driveshaft if using another transmission. Mounts and alittle Fab work. Fits right in there.
Now this is badass
Do you have the dimensions of the custom driveshaft you used with the 6r80? Did the 6r80 clear the tunnel cleanly? I am currently in the process of doing the same thing (minus the blower) on my 96 XR7 4.6. I will be using the PBH control pack and modular accessory kit. I will be using the stock modular K member and not the AJE k member. MN12s taking over =).
This would be so good to destroy Hellcats in.
Coil or spring/strut.
That bird is flying pretty high.
INSANE 🔥
Did you see the newest videos? 2021 GT500 5.2 Predator engine swap.
@@Oxman_Garage No, but I’m subscribing to watch the whole build now. 😎
This thing got an instagram page?
Do you have anything left from the Coyote Swap? I have a ‘96 that I am wanting to swap and use as Pro Street car at a Strip.
I'm currently selling the AJE tubular K member, Fuel cell, lots of odds and ends from the old set up.

Where in Wisconsin are you located I need to see this car in person
Milwaukee
Where did you order the dashboard and the seats from?
Did you make seat brackets or just bolt those seats onto the factory brackets?
Corbeau sells seat brackets that work with the 89-97 Thunderbird and Cougars
Nice
Cool car!
Did you swap the brake booster ? Or keep it stock ?
Sweet ride by the way
I need this done to my car. 97 limited edition . thunder Bird
😻
How much has it cost you
Front or rear wheel drive?
Rear wheel drive
After so much power and the inability to put it to the road with out slip
Yup, burnouts are fun
@@Oxman_Garage my stock 5sod corolla can do that
Do you have spacers in the back tires
No spacers, Mustang track pack wheels
Nice build but why automatic?
Autos win races, set up is for drag racing
A working trunk would make it a perfect cruiser.
Thats my plan. I have a 97. Doing suspension rn.
What seat floor brackets did you use for the aftermarket seats.
Corbeau
@@Oxman_Garage they make it for the 1996 ford thunderbird?
@@Oxman_Garage could you send me the link.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wow
How does it run w IRS. Wheel hop?
Runs good, no wheel hop, braced IRS with good bushings
This would look even cooler in a Mark VIII or VII
Waste of trunk space. Get rid of that crap and use trunk for what should be used for. Which is putting stuff in it.
The set up is mainly for drag racing, car shows and sunny days. I'll never have luggage or haul anything with it anymore.
@@Oxman_Garage I'd daily it atleast in summer 😏
Hey brother what seat rails did you use? And what made you decide to keep the auto vs swapping in the 6speed manual ?
The seat tracks Corbeau sells for the Thunderbird Cougar Mark VIII
Nice
