Why don't you comment on its characteristics? I just installed one, it doesn't prime the fuel pump so starting takes a tiny bit longer, it runs for maybe 0.5 seconds after you kill it. Engine braking is significantly reduced. Power is very linear and pure feeling. I bought it basically for the reasons you describe I wanted to install and forget it (just leave in MAP 1) overall very happy but wish someone would have described it. Still need to run through a couple tanks of gas and figure out how fuel economy compares to vortex/get
I thought I did describe it correctly. Mine starts quickly and yes there is a slight delay after pushing the kill button, but that didn't seem worth discussing. I don't agree that the engine braking is "significantly" reduced but I prefer to use the brakes and don't rely on engine braking.
Blais racing claims on there website the aim ecu will work with the stock map switch on the xcf-w models. I emailed blais and aim and got no reponse, any chance you could try a xcf-w map switch on one?
So if I buy it from you guys it’ll come with your custom tunes? I’m mainly after better low end smoothnesses and power and less stalling on my 17 fx350
Hello: There is no "stock barometric pressure sensor". The GET ECU has a Baro sensor but the others do not. The stock closed loop system uses a Lambda (CO2) sensor but not a baro sensor.
so like if i wanna keep my stock exhaust system or maybe switch out the end cap and take out the reeds in the air box would this ecu just work right out the box for that??? this shit confusing me. I'm used to ecu flashing
Im considering buying one from here in europe but obviously it wont have your maps on, can you comment on how the stock maps from the factory are? Will i be happy? Did you need to drastically tweak the supplied maps? Cheers
Our changes are significant. I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t be happy with the original maps. We ship to Europe every day and have fast service with reasonable freight fees.
@@slaverace1 agree the shipping prices are good but doesn’t look like you deduct the tax so that means i would pay an additional 25% on entry to norway! I can save around $250 by buying it in the UK. So in effect if be paying a lot just for your maps. Its a tough one to swallow 😂😂

I have the Taipan ECU on my 2022 ktm 500 at it worked very well I have over 90 hours on it and I am very happy using up tires. 😂

I don't have the OEM switch but I was told it will toggle between maps 1 and 2 with oem. Im happy with MAP one

Just give us a list of your mods and we map it accordingly.
