Tarja - You And I, Vocal Cover.

Sunday night I went to see the wonderful ‪@tarjaofficial‬ live in London. It had been about 6 years since I’d seen her last and I didn’t know what to expect. For those that seen my story from the night will have noticed that I had a real big breakdown whilst she was performing this track, there’s stuff currently going on in life that surely contributed to this but there was also a realisation in there as well. Tarja is the reason I sing today in metal, with a somewhat classical styling, she’s the reason I’m with the lads in Crown Solace and she’s the reason I am working my ass off to try and do something with my voice! For many years the she was the reason that I had hopes and dreams of going up on that stage to do what she does. I kinda lost that feeling recently, Iv never stopped loving doing what I do, but it’s more everyday life now, it’s work hard, record more, share more, hopefully play live….Sunday evening reminded me of WHY I’m doing this, it reignited a passion and a drive to just give back a little bit of what Tarja gave me in that moment! So anyways, here’s the song that made me cry 🖤.
