I'd hope they'd do a good job for it, GTA III remake was pretty bad in my books. Be nice if they just had the original available to play on windows through an emulator or a port
They actually had an Ape Escape anime back in the days in Japan, but it seems like it didn't do too well so maybe that's why they're discouraged to make another one 😓
@TGT Terrorizor340 yeah, this is wrong considering Ape Escape is in their classics catalogue on the new ps plus, and it is also one of the few games from that catalogue that has trophies with a platinum now attached to it.
I dont like the running animation or jumping animation but overall great job..Man i wish Sony would at least add the original to the PS store...I cant find my physical copy :(

This is basically how Medievil PS4 remake got made. Like some fan made a fan remake using Unreal Engine and Sony took notes of it and made it into a real game

There's room for improvement like dynamic music and Gadget Selection sound FX, but overall it looks really good! Plus, the original controls, which automatically makes it better than the PSP version.
It’s like how they remake spyro and crash they should remake Mario 64 for Nintendo switch and a Sonic adventure remake as well for both Xbox Nintendo Switch and PlayStation which I’m a huge sonic fan
I would love for a new ape escape game to come out, I found I got lost in those worlds , they could easily make a new one and port in some old classics for the fun of it, .
Looks just fine, but im being honest, it doesn't have the same feeling as the original one, it feels upsetting the amount of detailing this remake needs to match perfectly as the original game.

Anime is bigger than ever in the US now. You'd think this would be the perfect time for Sony to actually do a trilogy remake.

Hmm, I think Other Ocean Emeryville (developerof the remake) approached Sony to remake the game for them and then got the greenlight to do that.
